Their lower tiers and included features are not equivalent, so compare the functions and limits your team needs—not just the plan names or headline prices.
What is the main difference between Pipedrive and monday CRM?
Pipedrive is positioned more directly around sales pipeline management, with lead, calendar and pipeline tools featured on its lower-tier plan. monday CRM combines CRM records with configurable boards, fields, views and dashboards, which may suit teams coordinating work across sales and other departments. That distinction reflects how the vendors describe their products; it is not a claim based on comparative performance testing.
For a sales team with a defined process, map its stages, lead qualification, ownership, follow-ups and forecasting requirements to the features included in each plan. For a team that needs sales data connected to project or cross-department workflows, examine monday’s board and dashboard configuration alongside Pipedrive’s customizable pipelines and integrations.
How much do Pipedrive and monday CRM cost?
The following are the starting prices displayed on the vendors’ official pricing pages on October 4, 2026. They are not comparable total bills: plan inclusions differ, monday CRM plans start at three users, and the final amount can depend on location, billing cadence, taxes, seat count and add-ons. Pipedrive’s page labels its prices as per seat per month with annual billing, offers a 14-day trial and says prices exclude VAT where applicable. Its support documentation says subscription cost can also vary with seat count, billing cycle, add-ons or top-ups, currency and location. See Pipedrive pricing and Pipedrive’s subscription-cost explanation.
monday.com’s pricing page displays annual billing as saving 33%, also offers monthly billing, states that plans start from three users, and says prices depend on billing country and exclude tax. Ultimate uses custom pricing. See monday CRM pricing. The displayed per-seat figures alone do not show the total a team will pay.
Rank #2
What should you compare before choosing?
Sales process and pipeline
List the stages, qualification rules, ownership handoffs, follow-up routines and forecasting needs your team actually uses. Then check which tier includes the relevant tools. Pipedrive’s pricing presentation foregrounds pipeline management at the lower end; monday CRM’s plans bundle CRM data with configurable workspace elements.
Customization and collaboration
Consider whether the process mostly stays within sales or must connect with project work and other departments. monday documents configurable boards, fields, views and dashboards. Pipedrive documents customizable pipelines and a broad integration marketplace. The useful comparison is whether each product can represent your team’s process without relying on features or limits that are only available in a higher tier.

Feature availability and usage limits
Check the exact plan for automation, email synchronization, sequences, mass email, lead routing, custom reporting and permissions. The price table shows selected plan distinctions, not a complete feature inventory; included capabilities and usage ceilings vary by plan. Verify the features and limits that matter on the vendors’ current pages before committing.
Total cost for your team
Calculate the cost for the required seat count and billing cadence, then account for add-ons, usage top-ups and applicable taxes. monday’s three-user starting minimum can affect the total even when a displayed per-seat figure looks lower. Pipedrive also notes that add-ons, currency and location can affect subscription cost.
Existing tools and data flows
Check whether the CRM needs to exchange records or activity with software your team already uses. Pipedrive documents an integration that connects deals, contacts and activities with monday project management. That makes using both products a possible option when the team deliberately separates sales CRM from project coordination. See Pipedrive’s monday integration documentation for the documented connection.
