Consider HubSpot if sales needs to work alongside marketing, customer service or other customer-facing functions in a broader connected platform. Neither is universally better: compare the specific plan configuration and total cost your team would actually use, not just headline prices.
How Pipedrive and HubSpot differ
Pipedrive’s comparison emphasizes sales management: leads, pipelines, deals, follow-ups, automation and integrations. It also offers Campaigns as an email-marketing add-on. HubSpot presents a broader customer platform, with CRM, Marketing Hub, Sales Hub, Service Hub, Content Hub, Data Hub, Revenue Hub, Smart CRM and Agent Hub.

That difference in scope is the most useful starting point. A sales-first team may prefer to keep its core workflow focused; a team coordinating sales with marketing or service may want to evaluate a platform that connects those functions. These are conclusions drawn from the vendors’ product descriptions, not an independent performance test. Pipedrive’s comparison and HubSpot’s comparison are each published by the vendor they describe.

Which CRM is a better fit for your team?
Choose Pipedrive when sales workflow is the priority
- Your team’s central job is to move leads through a visible sales pipeline and keep deals and follow-ups organized.
- You want to assess a CRM around sales management and automation before adding other tools or functions.
- Email marketing is needed, but a dedicated marketing suite is not necessarily part of the CRM decision: Pipedrive describes Campaigns as an add-on.
Confirm that the Pipedrive plan you select includes the workflows your team needs, and account for any required add-ons.

Evaluate HubSpot when functions need to connect
- Sales needs to share customer data and processes with marketing or customer service.
- Your team expects to use several HubSpot product areas rather than only a sales CRM.
- You want to assess a wider customer platform and its App Marketplace against the systems and integrations you already use.
HubSpot’s broader scope does not by itself establish that it is the better or cheaper option. The right comparison depends on the products, seats and functions your team would actually configure.
What Pipedrive’s displayed prices mean
The official Pipedrive pricing page displays the following prices for annual billing. They are per seat, per month when presented as monthly equivalents, with the annual amount shown for one seat. The page says prices exclude VAT; applicable EU VAT may be charged unless an eligible VAT number is supplied.
| Plan | Displayed price per seat/month | Annual amount per seat |
|---|---|---|
| Growth | US$39, billed annually | US$468 |
| Premium | US$59, billed annually | US$708 |
| Ultimate | US$79, billed annually | US$948 |
These are the figures displayed on Pipedrive’s pricing page; confirm the live checkout for your region and billing terms before buying. The page advertises a 14-day trial.

Budget for add-ons and the full configuration
Pipedrive lists LeadBooster, Projects, Campaigns, Web Visitors and Smart Docs as add-ons. Its page displays starting amounts of US$32.50 for LeadBooster, US$16 for Projects, US$13.33 for Campaigns, US$41 for Web Visitors and US$32.50 for Smart Docs. The retrieved pricing information does not establish the billing basis for these add-on amounts, so verify the live checkout and local currency rather than treating them as directly comparable monthly per-seat prices.
For either CRM, build the estimate around your required seats, product areas, add-ons, billing cadence, region and any onboarding or migration costs. HubSpot’s comparison page says its pricing and feature information reflected what was publicly available as of August 2026, but it does not establish a fully contextualized price schedule for all regions and team configurations. As a result, the available figures do not support a blanket claim that one CRM always costs less.
Compare plans, integrations and implementation—not just product names
Check features at the tier you would buy
A platform’s broad product range does not tell you which functions are included in your proposed configuration. List the workflows the team needs, then check each one against the specific plan, hub or add-on under consideration. For Pipedrive, account for any relevant add-ons; for HubSpot, identify which product areas your team would use.
Rank #3
Verify the integrations you rely on
Pipedrive advertises more than 500 integrations, a vendor-provided count. HubSpot promotes its App Marketplace. Counts and packaging can change; confirm that each specific integration your team needs is available and works with the planned configuration. The number of listed integrations alone does not establish that either CRM supports your particular workflow.

Include implementation and support in the decision
Before committing, establish the work and cost involved in onboarding, configuring the CRM and moving existing data. Compare the options against your team’s available implementation capacity and the support it needs; the vendor comparison pages do not provide an independent head-to-head assessment of implementation effort or support quality.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone.Plan a HubSpot-to-Pipedrive migration carefully
Pipedrive describes an import path in which you upload data and select HubSpot as the previous provider. That establishes that an import option is advertised, but does not establish exactly how field mapping, activity history or attachments are handled, or what migration limits apply.
Before moving a production CRM, confirm those details with Pipedrive for your data and configuration. Identify the records and history you need to preserve, test the import with a small sample if possible, and verify the result before relying on the new CRM for live work.
How to make the decision
- Map the work. Write down the sales, marketing and service workflows the team must support, and which roles need access to each.
- Match workflows to products. Check those requirements against the specific Pipedrive plan and add-ons or HubSpot product areas you would use.
- Verify integrations and migration. Confirm that essential integrations are available in your intended configuration, and resolve import requirements before moving production data.
- Calculate the configured cost. Use your real seat count, required add-ons or hubs, billing cadence, region, and onboarding or migration needs.
- Recheck the live offer. Vendor pricing and feature packaging can change. Review the live pricing pages and checkout terms before signing.
Use official comparison pages as descriptions of each vendor’s own product. HubSpot’s page states its comparison information was current as of August 2026; the head-to-head claims on both pages are vendor claims, not an independent benchmark.
