Phoenix Cyclops has already been revealed as the first additional character for MARVEL Tōkon: Fighting Souls. Arc System Works announced him at San Diego Comic-Con on July 23, 2026; Marvel’s official trailer metadata lists a Fall 2026 release window, but no specific launch date.

What is known about this version of Cyclops?
The game’s Phoenix Cyclops is inspired by Cyclops’s Phoenix Five incarnation from Avengers vs. X-Men. The reveal recap confirms Optic Blasts, hand-to-hand combat and the Phoenix Force as features of the character, and credits Ray Chase as his English voice actor. It does not detail how those elements work in a match.
The announcement identifies him as the first additional character joining the game’s Year 1 content. Marvel’s official trailer metadata describes him as the first DLC character included in the Year 1 Character & Stage Pass.
