Recommended Free Tools
PeakFeed can refer to its 2015 social-media monitoring launch or to the company’s current collection of marketing tools. The right alternative depends on the job: SendView is the clearest fit for monitoring competitors’ email campaigns, while social reporting and management tools such as Cloud Campaign and Zoho Social belong on a separate shortlist. Product Hunt’s alternatives are discovery leads, not proof that every listing replaces PeakFeed directly.
What PeakFeed offers now—and what its name refers to
Product Hunt records PeakFeed’s launch on November 7, 2015, describing it as the “Easiest way to monitor your brand’s social media efforts.” Its listing also records later launches including Snapshot, Hemlock, Readership, and ESP Finder. That history explains why older search results associate PeakFeed with social monitoring, but it does not establish that every historical product remains available today. Product Hunt’s PeakFeed listing currently shows no PeakFeed reviews.

The current PeakFeed homepage instead presents the company as a source of marketing tools. It foregrounds SendView for tracking other companies’ email marketing, Hoverpost for email subscriptions for YouTubers and podcasters, and free utilities including TweetDeets, ESP Finder, a social-share link generator, and Email Tech Tracker. This current company-level lineup should not be confused with the full historical PeakFeed product catalog.

| Your task | Starting point | What the evidence establishes |
|---|---|---|
| Monitor competitors’ email campaigns | SendView | PeakFeed links to it, and SendView describes campaign dashboards, comparisons, trends, alerts, and reports. |
| Manage social accounts or produce social reports | Compare Cloud Campaign, Zoho Social, and Highperformr.ai | They surface in directory or Product Hunt listings; those listings do not prove like-for-like fit with PeakFeed’s former Snapshot or Readership. |
| Research audience behavior on social media | Readership, only if access is available | PeakFeed says it analyzes public interactions around an audience, but also says the service is no longer open to new users. |
| Track a large group of social accounts with a custom solution | PeakFeed Labs | Its page describes custom tracking examples, but does not state current project availability or provide a price list. |
For competitor email intelligence: SendView
SendView is the most directly evidenced alternative when the goal is to see what other companies send to their email lists. PeakFeed itself links to it as “Powerful Competitor Email Monitoring.” SendView describes an analysis-oriented inbox with campaign dashboards, side-by-side competitor comparisons, trend views, weekly digests, campaign timelines, alerts, monthly reports, and an inspiration board. These are vendor-described capabilities; confirm that the functions and coverage you need are included in the current plan.
#1 Best Overall
- Preloaded with relevant feeds
- Easy to set-up and manage feeds
- Organize Feeds by Categories
- Lots of Options
- Widget
On its site checked October 7, 2026, SendView listed monthly prices of $69 for Standard, $99 for Pro, $169 for Ultimate, and $249 for Managed. These are time-sensitive vendor prices, not a general market benchmark; check the live SendView site for current plan details, billing terms, and availability.
SendView’s feature archive shows 2026 releases for email-list-sharing monitoring (August 11), agency workflows (July 28), digests (July 2), weekly summaries (July 1), and Ask (June 30). Its site also says it has analyzed more than 3,000,000 campaigns; that is a cumulative figure reported by SendView / PeakFeed LLC, not an independently validated statistic. The archive and figure are vendor-published information and can change.

For social reporting or management: shortlist carefully
PeakFeed’s historical Snapshot launch was described as “All your brand’s social profiles, one weekly report.” For a current social-management or reporting shortlist, Product Hunt surfaces Highperformr.ai, while Capterra lists Cloud Campaign and Zoho Social among PeakFeed alternatives. These are directory and marketplace signals rather than verified feature matches. Neither source establishes that any of these products reproduces Snapshot’s weekly-report workflow or Readership’s audience analysis.
Before choosing a social tool, compare the specific platforms it connects to, account limits, scheduled-report options, competitor monitoring, audience-research method, export formats, collaboration features, and total cost. Check the current product documentation or ask the vendor to demonstrate the workflow you need; a broad “social media” category label does not answer those questions.

Readership and PeakFeed Labs: relevant, but with access limits
Readership
PeakFeed’s Readership page says the service is no longer open to new users. It describes analysis of public social interactions associated with a selected audience, currently focused on Twitter, and says reports can also be generated from an email list by inquiry. The page lists reports at $99 and says analysis usually takes 2–4 hours, while also mentioning beta discounts. Because signups are closed, those figures should not be treated as a currently accessible offer or a guaranteed turnaround.
PeakFeed Labs
PeakFeed Labs describes custom solutions for tracking large groups of social accounts, with examples including a CSV export for nearly 100 accounts, influencer dashboards, and franchisee-account tracking. The page does not provide a current price list or clearly say whether it is accepting new projects. Treat it as a potential custom-service inquiry, not a self-serve alternative with established terms.

Why other Product Hunt alternatives may not be substitutes
Product Hunt and Capterra aggregate products with overlapping marketing or social categories, but overlap does not mean the tools solve the same problem. Product Hunt’s broader suggestions include tona and Competitors App for competitor monitoring, Ahrefs and SEMrush for SEO and keyword research, and Mailchimp for email marketing. Mailchimp’s role in running email journeys, for example, is distinct from monitoring competitors’ emails. Use such listings to discover candidates, then verify the workflow and evidence on each vendor’s own site. See the Product Hunt alternatives page and Capterra’s PeakFeed alternatives listing for their respective directory results.

A practical comparison checklist
- Research target: Decide whether you need competitor emails, public social posts or accounts, audience interests, or general campaign management.
- Coverage: Confirm supported email providers or social platforms, the number of brands or accounts you can monitor, and how much historical data is available.
- Output: Check for dashboards, alerts, weekly digests, scheduled reports, CSV or PDF exports, or raw campaign content as applicable.
- Operating effort: Establish whether setup and monitoring are self-managed or handled as a managed service.
- Access and cost: Verify signup availability, trial conditions, plan limits, billing cadence, and current prices directly with the provider.
- Evidence quality: Separate vendor documentation from directory labels, marketplace suggestions, and promotional claims.
