Osavul announced an €8.5 million Series A on 1 October 2026, with 33N Ventures leading the round and Balnord, G+D Ventures and existing investor 42CAP participating. The company says it has raised approximately €12 million in total. The financing is intended to help Osavul expand beyond government and defence work into enterprise and critical-infrastructure markets; it is not evidence that this expansion has already happened.

Who invested in Osavul?

Osavul’s announcement names 33N Ventures as lead investor, alongside Balnord, G+D Ventures and existing investor 42CAP. Balnord separately confirmed its participation, and Tech.eu independently reported the round and investor group. Osavul puts total funding after the financing at approximately €12 million.

The company said it will use the capital to deepen its AI capabilities, build its commercial organisation and enter new markets and sectors. It specifically identified enterprise customers and critical-infrastructure operators as growth targets while saying it will continue serving government and defence customers. Those are plans for the funding, not completed expansion milestones.

What does Osavul do?

Osavul describes itself as a hybrid risk intelligence company. Its Nebula platform, according to the company, collects and processes data from social media, messaging apps, websites, underground communities and emerging platforms. The company says it can use these sources to connect information, cyber and physical threat signals with a customer’s people, facilities and supply chains.

Osavul says its assessments are evidence-traced and analyst-reviewed, and that the platform can be deployed on-premises within sovereign infrastructure. These are company descriptions of its product and capabilities; the available reporting does not provide independent efficacy measurements or comparative tests.

Who uses the platform, and what traction has Osavul reported?

Osavul says it serves government, defence and security institutions in more than 10 countries, including the UK, Germany, Poland, the Nordics, the United States and APAC. The company also says it is one of three technology companies delivering NATO’s Information Environment Assessment Capability; Tech.eu reported the NATO connection. This does not establish NATO endorsement, and the available information does not detail the programme’s contract scope.

For its enterprise business, Osavul says total contract value grew fourfold in 2025 and identifies defence industrials, energy, transport and financial services as areas of traction. The company did not disclose an absolute contract-value figure or comparison base. Contract value is not the same measure as recognized revenue, so the claim should not be read as fourfold revenue growth.

What does the funding mean for businesses?

The round gives Osavul capital to pursue commercial customers in sectors that the company says face hybrid risks, including energy, airports, ports, transport and finance. CEO and co-founder Dmytro Plieshakov framed that shift in the company’s announcement: “Hybrid attacks are no longer a government problem alone. The companies running energy, airports, ports, transport and finance now face the same adversaries, usually without the means to see them coming.”

For prospective customers, the announcement signals where Osavul intends to grow, not proof that its platform has already delivered particular outcomes for businesses. The sources do not state pricing, provide competitor comparisons or independently assess detection performance. Organisations evaluating this kind of system would need to assess data coverage, geographic and language reach, deployment requirements, analyst review and evidence for claimed results against their own needs.

What is known about the threat backdrop?

Osavul says it has recorded more than 150 state-linked incidents across Europe since 2022. The company announcement does not disclose the dataset, methodology or definition of an incident behind that figure, so it is a company-reported claim rather than an independently verified incident count.

Osavul’s funding announcement contains the company’s financing, operating claims and plans. Tech.eu’s report provides independent coverage of the deal, while Balnord’s announcement confirms its participation. Osavul’s website describes the platform.
