The confirmed specifications also describe different regional versions, so compare the market and exact variant before deciding which phone suits you.
At a glance: which versions are being compared?
OPPO announced the Reno15c for India, with sales beginning February 5, 2026. Motorola’s official listing available for this comparison is Motorola Japan’s Edge 70 Fusion page, which gives a planned Japanese release date of October 23, 2026. Those are not equivalent regional listings, and the Japanese model’s price or specifications should not be treated as the India version.

OPPO also lists a differently specified Reno15c on its China specifications page. Keeping the market labels attached matters: the China page describes a 6.59-inch display, 6,500mAh typical battery and a fourth-generation Snapdragon 7 platform, while OPPO India’s announcement describes a 6.57-inch display, 7,000mAh battery and Snapdragon 6 Gen 1.

What is the price difference?
A dependable price difference cannot be calculated from these figures. OPPO’s ₹34,999 and ₹37,999 are India launch prices from 2026; Motorola’s ¥79,800 is a tax-inclusive price on the Japanese official store listing. Converting yen to rupees would not account for local taxes, regional configurations, warranty terms, seller pricing or availability.
A comparison page lists a ₹30,999 Flipkart figure for the Motorola, but that is a volatile secondary listing, not an established official India price. Its reported processor and storage also differ from Motorola Japan’s official specifications. Confirm the exact model, seller, stock and current price directly before using that listing to make a purchase decision.

How the phones differ in practical terms
Display size and refresh rate
The Japan-listed Motorola has the larger screen and a stated refresh rate of up to 144Hz. OPPO India specifies a smaller 6.57-inch display and highlights FHD+, 10-bit color and peak brightness, but the India announcement does not state a refresh rate. Do not infer that the India Reno15c has the 120Hz figure shown on OPPO’s China page; that specification belongs to the China listing.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches2Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems3Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteBattery capacity and charging
Both India Reno15c and Japan Edge 70 Fusion listings state 7,000mAh batteries. OPPO specifies 80W SUPERVOOC charging, compared with Motorola Japan’s 68W TurboPower. The ratings come from the manufacturers; they do not establish real-world battery life or charging times under the same conditions. Motorola Japan describes its two-day battery-life figure as a guide based on company-specified tests, says actual life varies with use and settings, and does not guarantee two days.

Cameras
OPPO India specifies three rear cameras—main, ultra-wide and macro—and a 50MP ultra-wide selfie camera. Motorola Japan highlights a 50MP Sony LYTIA 710 main camera and says its main, ultra-wide and front cameras support 4K recording. The available Motorola listing excerpt does not give the front-camera megapixel count, and these specifications alone do not establish which phone takes better photos or video.
Processor and memory
The India Reno15c announcement names Snapdragon 6 Gen 1; the Japan Edge 70 Fusion listing names Snapdragon 7s Gen 3. Their shared 12GB/256GB configuration is useful for a direct capacity comparison, but the specifications supplied here do not provide verified, same-condition benchmark results. A comparison page’s performance scores are not enough to establish a head-to-head result when its device variant and testing method are unverified.

Which phone should you choose?
- Considering the Reno15c in India: Compare the current asking price of the specific 8GB/256GB or 12GB/256GB variant with its launch price, and confirm the seller and stock. OPPO said the phone would be sold in India through Amazon India as well as other channels; that does not establish current availability or price.
- Considering the Edge 70 Fusion: Verify the official local product page and specification sheet for your country. The Japan listing does not establish the India model’s processor, configuration, price, network bands or warranty.
- Choosing between them: Match the exact regional variants, then weigh screen size and refresh rate, charging, camera configuration, storage, software support, network-band compatibility and current local prices. The available evidence is not sufficient to name a universal winner.
Regional specifications to keep separate
OPPO’s China specifications page describes a 6.59-inch, 2760 × 1256, 120Hz display; a 6,500mAh typical battery with up to 80W SUPERVOOC or UFCS charging; a fourth-generation Snapdragon 7 platform up to 2.8GHz; and 50MP main, 8MP ultra-wide, 50MP telephoto with OIS, and 50MP front cameras. It also lists 12GB/256GB and 12GB/512GB configurations with LPDDR5X and UFS 3.1. These are China-market specifications, not a substitute for the India launch announcement’s specifications.
