Which phone should you choose?
Choose the OPPO K13 if battery capacity and charging wattage lead your checklist
OPPO lists a 7,000mAh typical battery (6,820mAh rated) and 80W charging. Those figures give the K13 the advantage on paper over the Redmi’s 5,800mAh typical battery and 45W charging. They do not establish how long either phone lasts in everyday use or how quickly it charges; comparable runtime and charging tests were not verified.

The Redmi’s listed 6.77-inch curved AMOLED is larger than the K13’s 6.67-inch rigid AMOLED, and both are specified for refresh rates up to 120Hz. Xiaomi also lists microSD expansion up to 1TB. Its hybrid SIM slot uses the second slot for either a SIM or a memory card, so expansion can mean giving up a second SIM.

Do not decide on camera megapixels or chipset clocks alone
The Redmi lists a 20MP front camera against OPPO’s 16MP, but resolution does not show which phone takes better photos. Both list a 50MP main rear camera and 4K recording at 30fps; the secondary rear camera is described as depth on the Redmi and monochrome on the OPPO. No comparable camera-output or video test was verified.
OPPO’s launch announcement identifies the K13’s Snapdragon 6 Gen 4, while Xiaomi lists Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 for the Redmi. The listed CPU speeds are 2.3GHz for OPPO’s stated Kryo 6-Series CPU and up to 2.4GHz for Xiaomi’s chipset. These labels and clock figures alone do not establish which phone is faster in apps or games; no comparable independent benchmark was verified.

Consider advertised update periods, with regional-policy caveats
Xiaomi’s India product page advertises four years of OS updates and six years of security patches. OPPO’s India launch announcement states two years of OS updates and three years of security updates. These claims come from different types of manufacturer pages; check the current India support policy and rollout details for the exact model before treating the advertised periods as a guarantee of when updates will arrive.
What is the current price difference in India?
A reliable current price gap cannot be stated from the available price evidence. OPPO announced an India launch starting price of ₹17,999 for the K13; that is a historical launch figure, not a current offer. Third-party comparison snapshots have shown different figures and do not establish a fair comparison between equivalent listings. OPPO lists 128GB and 256GB versions with 8GB RAM, while Xiaomi lists three configurations, so compare the same RAM and storage tier wherever possible.
