What changed from Find X8 to Find X9?
Newer chipset, but no performance result established here
The Find X9 moves from the Dimensity 9400 to the Dimensity 9500. That identifies a newer chipset generation; it does not, by itself, establish how much faster either phone is in games, sustained workloads or everyday use. For that, compare independent tests of the exact regional models.

A larger stated battery, not a proven battery-life gain
OPPO lists 7,025mAh for the Find X9 and 5,630mAh for the Find X8, a capacity difference of 1,395mAh. Capacity is not a battery endurance test: actual runtime depends on the phone, software, network conditions and use.
Same display size and refresh rate
Both standard models are specified with a 6.59-inch, 120Hz display. Those shared figures do not establish that the panels have identical characteristics.

Similar camera count, with a new camera description
Both phones have three 50MP rear cameras in OPPO’s specifications. The Find X8’s listed trio includes a 3x periscope telephoto, while OPPO describes the Find X9 as having a True Color Camera in addition to its triple 50MP system. Compare focal lengths, sensor details and independent photo and video samples before choosing based on camera performance. The Find X9 Pro’s 200MP telephoto is not a base Find X9 feature.
Same stated charging rates; different software at launch
OPPO specifies 80W wired and 50W wireless charging for both global models. Charger-in-box terms can depend on market, so confirm what comes with the specific regional package. The Find X8 launched with ColorOS 15; the Find X9 launched with ColorOS 16. OPPO’s Find X8 global release states six years of security updates. The cited Find X9 launch material does not establish its precise update-support duration.

- Consider the Find X9 if its newer chipset, higher stated battery capacity or ColorOS 16 matter to you, and its current local price fits your budget.
