The India-market OPPO A6 Pro 5G (model CPH2827) has a 7,000mAh typical battery and up to 80W charging; the OnePlus N6 has a larger 8,000mAh typical battery and 45W charging. OPPO’s India listing showed prices of ₹32,999 and ₹35,999 for its two storage options, but an exact current OnePlus price was not confirmed, so a reliable current price gap cannot be stated.
Which India models are being compared?
This comparison uses OPPO A6 Pro 5G model CPH2827, the variant listed on OPPO India’s site, and the phone that OnePlus India calls OnePlus N6. “OnePlus N6 5G” appears in the comparison title, but the official India pages reviewed use “OnePlus N6.”

Variant matters: OPPO’s separate global A6 Pro 5G model CPH2781 is not the India phone. OPPO India lists CPH2827 with an HD+ LCD display and a weight of 216g; do not substitute the global model’s AMOLED FHD+ display or other physical specifications.

What do the differences mean in everyday use?
Display and performance
OPPO specifies an HD+ LCD with a 120Hz refresh rate. OnePlus also lists a 120Hz display and claims 1200-nit peak brightness, but the reviewed page details do not establish panel type or resolution. The phones list different chipsets, but the specifications alone do not show how they compare in sustained performance, heat or demanding apps; no same-condition independent benchmark was reviewed.
Battery capacity and charging speed
OnePlus lists the larger battery: 8,000mAh typical and 7,780mAh rated, compared with OPPO’s 7,000mAh typical and 6,830mAh rated. OPPO lists the higher maximum charging rate, up to 80W, versus 45W for OnePlus. Capacity and charging ratings do not by themselves determine how long a phone lasts or how quickly it charges in every situation.
OnePlus attributes its battery figures and duration claims to its Test Lab, and says actual experience varies with conditions and use. Its published battery-duration figures should be treated as lab results, not a promise of a particular number of days for every owner.

Cameras and video
Both phones list a 50MP main rear camera. OPPO also specifies a 2MP monochrome camera and a 16MP front camera; the reviewed OnePlus specification lines do not establish its front-camera resolution. OnePlus lists dual-view video, and its 60fps recording claim is limited to the 6GB+128GB version. Megapixel counts and feature lists do not establish which phone produces better photos; that would require comparable testing.
Memory, storage and durability
OPPO offers 8GB RAM configurations with either 128GB or 256GB storage and lists microSD support. OnePlus lists 6GB of physical RAM plus 6GB of virtual RAM, up to 128GB built-in storage and expansion up to 2TB. Virtual RAM is not additional physical RAM, so compare the 6GB physical figure with OPPO’s 8GB physical configurations.

OnePlus states an IP65 rating and MIL-STD-810H certification for the N6. These are manufacturer claims, not evidence of a comparative independent water, dust or drop test. The reviewed OPPO India specification lines do not establish a formal IP rating.

OPPO India’s product listing observed on October 7, 2026 showed ₹32,999 for 8GB/128GB and ₹35,999 for 8GB/256GB. Those are listing prices observed on that date and may change.
The reviewed official OnePlus N6 pages did not expose an exact current sale price. OnePlus’s June 30, 2026 launch page placed the phone in the ₹15,000–₹20,000 India segment, but that is a launch-time segment statement—not a current price for a specific storage configuration. Third-party comparison results showed conflicting figures, so they do not support a dependable current price gap. Check both official listings on the day you buy and compare the same storage capacity and sale conditions.
Which phone should you choose?
- Consider the OPPO A6 Pro 5G if you prefer its listed 8GB RAM configurations, microSD support, or higher maximum wired charging rate.
- Consider the OnePlus N6 if its larger stated battery, IP65 and MIL-STD-810H claims, or expandable-storage ceiling are more important to you.
- Compare display quality or camera results in person or through independent testing if those are decisive: the listed specifications do not establish a winner for image quality, panel resolution on OnePlus, sustained performance, thermals or real-world endurance.
OnePlus describes a “60-Month Smooth Experience” based on its internal fluency testing and explicitly does not guarantee that the phone will never lag. Neither the listed software version nor that claim establishes a software-support duration.
