OPPO’s global A6 Pro CPH2799 stands out for its listed battery capacity and charging speed, but it is a 4G model. This comparison uses OPPO’s global CPH2799 and Samsung’s UK-listed Galaxy A27 5G; India’s A6 Pro 5G is different hardware and needs a separate comparison.
First, identify which OPPO A6 Pro you mean
“OPPO A6 Pro” does not identify one identical configuration across markets. OPPO Global’s CPH2799 specifications describe a Helio G100 phone whose listed network bands are GSM, 3G and 4G. OPPO India separately lists the CPH2827 A6 Pro 5G, with a Dimensity 6300 and HD+ LCD. Do not combine the India model’s 5G connectivity with the global model’s display, processor or battery specifications.

- 256GB Storage, 8GB RAM, microSDXC
- Android 15, ColorOS 15, Mediatek Dimensity 6300 (6 nm), Octa-core (2x2.4 GHz Cortex-A76 & 6x2.0 GHz Cortex-A55)

Which phone has the better display?
Both cited models have FHD+ AMOLED-class displays and support refresh rates up to 120 Hz. The Samsung listing is larger at 6.7 inches; OPPO’s global CPH2799 is 6.57 inches. Those figures establish size and stated panel specifications, not comparative brightness, color accuracy or viewing quality.
How do battery capacity and charging compare?
OPPO lists a 7000 mAh typical battery and charging up to 80 W for CPH2799, compared with Samsung’s 5000 mAh typical battery. That makes OPPO’s global model the stronger specification-sheet pick for stated capacity and charging speed. Capacity alone does not establish which phone lasts longer in everyday use: runtime also depends on the display, radio conditions, software and usage. Samsung’s UK page states up to 23 hours of video playback; that is Samsung’s published figure, not a directly comparable test result for both devices.

What do the camera specifications tell you?
Samsung lists three rear cameras: a 50 MP main camera with optical image stabilization (OIS), a 5 MP ultra-wide and a 2 MP macro. OPPO lists a 50 MP wide camera and a 2 MP monochrome secondary sensor. Samsung therefore offers more listed rear-camera types and specifies stabilization on the main camera; OPPO lists a higher-resolution 16 MP front camera versus Samsung’s 12 MP. Megapixel counts and lens counts do not, by themselves, establish image quality.

Choose the Galaxy A27 5G if
- You want a phone whose listed specifications include 5G.
- You prefer the larger 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display.
- You value a listed ultra-wide camera and OIS on the main rear camera.
Consider OPPO A6 Pro CPH2799 if
- Your priority is the listed 7000 mAh typical battery and up-to-80 W charging.
- You are comfortable with the global CPH2799’s listed 4G connectivity rather than 5G.
If you are shopping in India
Compare the Galaxy A27 5G against OPPO India’s CPH2827 A6 Pro 5G instead of using CPH2799 figures. OPPO India lists that model with a Dimensity 6300, HD+ LCD and 5G. Its display and processor differ from the global model in this comparison, so the table above cannot be used to judge it.
Before choosing either phone, match the exact model, RAM/storage, local warranty and current seller price. The published specifications support a trade-off, not an overall performance winner: Galaxy A27 5G for listed 5G and Samsung’s display/camera configuration; OPPO Global CPH2799 for stated battery capacity and charging speed.
