The OnePlus N6 lists the larger battery, while the OPPO A6 5G claims higher dust- and water-resistance ratings. Both advertise 120 Hz displays and charging up to 45 W. A marketplace snapshot dated October 5, 2026, showed the N6 ₹2,000 higher, but the listings may not be equivalent variants and prices can change. This comparison is specifically of the India-market OPPO A6 5G and OnePlus N6.

The N6 has the larger stated capacity: 8,000 mAh typical (7,780 mAh rated), compared with 7,000 mAh typical (6,830 mAh rated) for the India A6 5G. These are manufacturer capacity figures, not a direct battery-life comparison. OnePlus says its capacity data is based on its test lab and that actual experience varies; OPPO cautions that battery results vary with network and other factors.
#1 Best Overall
- 6.75 inches, IPS LCD, 720 x 1570 pixels
- 256GB Storage, 6GB RAM, microSDXC
- Android 15, ColorOS 15, Mediatek Dimensity 6300 (6 nm), Octa-core (2x2.4 GHz Cortex-A76 & 6x2.0 GHz Cortex-A55)
- Rear: 50 MP, f/1.8, (wide), PDAF, Auxiliary lens, Front: 8 MP, f/2.0, (wide)
Both support up to 45 W wired charging according to their manufacturers. OnePlus’s claim of a 1%-to-50% charge in 47 minutes applies under its stated conditions; charging performance depends on conditions and compatibility. The capacity and charging figures do not establish which phone lasts longer in a particular person’s use.
How do their displays, processors and cameras compare?
Display and performance
Both manufacturers advertise 120 Hz refresh rates. OPPO identifies the India A6 5G screen as a 17.15 cm LCD and claims brightness up to 1,125 nits. The official OnePlus product extract confirms 120 Hz, but does not independently establish the display type in this comparison. The listed chipsets are Dimensity 6300 for OPPO and Dimensity 6360 Apex for OnePlus; those model names alone do not establish a real-world performance winner.

OnePlus lists an AnTuTu score of 615,800+ for the N6 using its specified version and device configuration. This is a vendor test result, not an independent or universally reproducible benchmark. OnePlus also says its “60-Month Smooth Experience” means the phone passed 60-month fluency testing in its test lab through software, hardware and other optimizations; the company says that does not guarantee absolutely no lag and actual experience may vary.

Which phone has the higher resistance rating?
OPPO claims IP66/IP68/IP69 testing for the India A6 5G, while OnePlus lists IP65 for the N6. These are manufacturer specifications with different ratings, not results from a head-to-head independent test. An IP rating does not make a phone waterproof or safe for every liquid, exposure or circumstance. OPPO says its tests were conducted under controlled conditions, protection can diminish with wear, and liquid damage is not covered by warranty. Check each phone’s warranty terms before relying on its resistance rating.
What is the price difference in India?
A 91mobiles comparison listing accessed on October 5, 2026, showed ₹22,999 for OPPO A6 and ₹24,999 for OnePlus N6 5G, a ₹2,000 higher listed price for the OnePlus. The page directed buyers to Amazon, but these are third-party marketplace snapshot prices, not official manufacturer prices. It does not establish that the two listings have matching RAM and storage, or that either price or stock remains current. Check the live listing and exact variant before comparing or buying.

Which one should you choose?
- Consider the OnePlus N6 if its larger stated battery, Dimensity 6360 Apex platform or OxygenOS 16 better fits your priorities. Treat OnePlus’s benchmark, runtime-related and smoothness statements as manufacturer claims rather than independent testing.
- Consider the OPPO A6 5G if OPPO’s stated IP66/IP68/IP69 testing, 120 Hz LCD or ColorOS matters more to you, or if a live listing confirms a lower price for the configuration you want.
Before deciding on price, compare the same RAM and storage capacity, then check current local price, warranty and service availability. The available listings do not establish matched variants or a verified current official price for either phone.
