1Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems2Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute3Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsOn the India comparison sheet, the realme GT 7 has the stronger listed hardware: a MediaTek Dimensity 9400e chip, a 50 MP telephoto rear camera, a 7,000 mAh battery and 120 W wired charging. The OnePlus Nord 5 leads on display size, maximum refresh rate and selfie camera resolution. On the price snapshot, the Nord 5 was listed ₹1,790 higher, but the GT 7 entry was marked out of stock, so that gap is not a price you can currently pay for the GT 7.
Price and availability
A 91mobiles price tracker captured in 2026 listed the OnePlus Nord 5 at ₹43,789 and the realme GT 7 at ₹41,999. The difference is ₹1,790, with the Nord 5 higher. Because the GT 7 was out of stock on that page, the figures show a snapshot rather than a live buying option. Stock, seller and price move frequently, so check them directly before deciding.

Performance
The Nord 5 uses the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 and the GT 7 uses the Dimensity 9400e. The 91mobiles page reports the following benchmark results, which are not hands-on tests of either phone.

| Benchmark (as reported by 91mobiles) | OnePlus Nord 5 | realme GT 7 |
|---|---|---|
| AnTuTu score | 1,481,616 | 2,125,733 |
| Geekbench multi-core score | 5,094 | 7,308 |
On these reported scores, the GT 7 is roughly 43% higher in both tests. Benchmark results depend on software version, test version and test conditions, so they indicate the listed chip difference rather than how the phones will feel in daily use.
Display
The Nord 5 has a 6.83-inch Swift AMOLED panel listed at 144 Hz. The GT 7 has a slightly smaller 6.78-inch LTPO AMOLED panel listed at 120 Hz. If you want the larger screen and the higher maximum refresh rate, the Nord 5 is the stronger match on this sheet.
The comparison also lists peak brightness of 1,800 nits for the Nord 5 and 6,000 nits for the GT 7. These are peak figures from the source listing. They are not the same as sustained brightness during long full-screen use, so do not read the gap as a guaranteed difference in outdoor visibility.
Cameras
The two phones take different camera approaches on paper. The GT 7 adds a 50 MP telephoto rear camera to its 50 MP main and 8 MP ultra-wide cameras. The Nord 5 has a 50 MP main camera and an 8 MP ultra-wide camera, but its 50 MP front camera is higher resolution than the GT 7’s listed 32 MP selfie camera.
Rank #2
- 5G Enabled - The OnePlus Nord N20 is the perfect entry-level 5G phone, featuring premium specs and an affordable price. *5G compatible with most GSM service providers (T-Mobile, AT&T, Etc). Will not work with CDMA Carriers. Check with your service provider for compatibility.
- Display: Features a 6.43-inch AMOLED display with 128GB of storage and 68 minutes of battery life
- Camera: Includes a 5MP front camera and 5G connectivity for fast wireless speeds
- Memory: Comes with 6GB of RAM and a 4500mAh battery for extended use
- Security: Equipped with a fingerprint sensor for quick and secure access
Camera count and megapixel figures do not determine image quality, because sensor size, processing and lens design all matter. If camera output is the deciding factor, compare sample photos taken under the same conditions.

| Item | OnePlus Nord 5 | realme GT 7 |
|---|---|---|
| Battery capacity | 6,800 mAh | 7,000 mAh |
| Wired charging | 80 W | 120 W |
| PCMark battery result (as reported by 91mobiles) | 11 h 50 min | 16 h 37 min |
| Charging time listed by the comparison page | 100% in 54 minutes | 50% in 14 minutes |
The GT 7 has a 200 mAh larger battery and faster listed charging. The PCMark results are benchmark outcomes reported by the comparison source; they are not a promise of how long either phone will last with your own usage. The charging times also depend on conditions and on compatible charging equipment, so they are not guaranteed for every charger.
Durability ratings
Gadgets 360 lists the Nord 5 at IP65 and the GT 7 at IP69. An IP65 rating means the phone is dust-tight and protected against low-pressure water jets. An IP69 rating means protection against close-range, high-pressure, high-temperature water jets. Neither rating means the phone is fully waterproof for submersion, so avoid treating either as a guarantee against water damage.
Software and update commitments
Both phones launched with Android 15: the Nord 5 on OxygenOS and the GT 7 on realme UI. The 91mobiles comparison lists four years of OS updates and six years of security updates for both phones. OnePlus’s India product page separately states four Android version upgrades and six years of security support for the Nord 5. The update terms are a useful point of parity, so the decision is more likely to turn on hardware, display, price or stock than on software support.

Which phone fits your priorities
Use the listed specifications to match the phone to what you need most. This is a decision guide based on specification sheets, not a verdict from hands-on testing.
Choose the realme GT 7 if
- Processing performance is your top priority, and you want the Dimensity 9400e’s reported lead in AnTuTu and Geekbench scores.
- You want a dedicated 50 MP telephoto rear camera.
- Battery capacity and fast 120 W wired charging matter more to you than a larger display.
- The GT 7 is in stock at a price you find acceptable for the memory and storage configuration you want.
Choose the OnePlus Nord 5 if
- A larger 6.83-inch screen and a 144 Hz maximum refresh rate are important to you.
- You value the higher-resolution 50 MP selfie camera.
- The Nord 5 is available at a price you consider a better value for the same storage and memory configuration, given that the listing on the snapshot was ₹1,790 higher than the GT 7 entry.
When price is the deciding factor
The ₹1,790 gap on the snapshot is only a starting point. If the GT 7 is in stock at a matching configuration and a price close to or below the Nord 5, the GT 7’s listed hardware advantages favor it on paper. If the GT 7 is unavailable, the Nord 5 is the practical option in India, provided its price and configuration suit you.
