The OnePlus 15 is the higher-tier flagship on paper, with a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip and a more extensively specified camera system. The OnePlus Nord 6 costs less in its Indian launch positioning and has the larger stated battery and a 165Hz AMOLED display. For India, OnePlus’s store listed the OnePlus 15 at ₹85,999 for 12GB/256GB and ₹93,999 for 16GB/512GB when checked on October 4, 2026; an exact current Nord 6 price was not established, so a precise live price difference cannot be calculated from those figures.

Which phone is better?
Choose the OnePlus 15 if your priority is the higher chipset tier and the more extensively specified camera and video hardware. Choose the Nord 6 if its listed 9,000mAh battery capacity, 165Hz AMOLED display and lower launch-segment positioning better match your priorities. Those specifications alone do not establish which phone lasts longer in everyday use or produces better photos; no independent comparative tests are established by the cited sources.

Performance: flagship chip versus Nord chip
OnePlus identifies the OnePlus 15’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 as its flagship platform, while the Nord 6 India page specifies Snapdragon 8s Gen 4. That puts the OnePlus 15 in the higher performance tier on paper. It does not justify a specific speed or gaming-performance multiplier: no comparable independent benchmark results are established here.
Battery and charging: larger capacity on the Nord 6
The Nord 6 has the larger listed capacity, 9,000mAh against the OnePlus 15’s 7,300mAh. Capacity is not a runtime test: screen settings, apps, network conditions, usage and device age affect battery life. OnePlus says those factors influence the Nord 6’s actual battery life; its product-page gaming results use specified laboratory conditions rather than representing guaranteed everyday use (OnePlus Nord 6 India).

Charging figures depend on the regional OnePlus 15 version: its global specifications list 120W wired and 50W wireless charging, while OnePlus’s North America release says the U.S. and Canadian models support up to 80W wired. The Nord 6 India page lists 80W. Confirm the regional phone’s supported rate and the adapter included in the box before assuming a particular charging speed.
Display: shared 165Hz peak, different stated detail
Both phones are associated with a 165Hz figure, but the figure does not make their displays equivalent. OnePlus specifies the OnePlus 15 as a 6.78-inch, 2772 × 1272 display with adaptive 1–120Hz and up to 165Hz in gaming. The Nord 6 India page identifies a 165Hz AMOLED display; the cited information does not establish its resolution or that it uses the same refresh-rate behavior.

OnePlus’s release gives the OnePlus 15 three 50MP rear cameras, including a 3.5× optical periscope telephoto, and describes 4K 120fps Dolby Vision video. For the Nord 6, OnePlus’s India page lists a 50MP Sony main camera with dual-axis OIS, a 32MP front camera and 4K 60fps video. The stated hardware and video capabilities favor the OnePlus 15 for feature breadth, but they do not establish comparative image quality.

OnePlus states that the Nord 6 receives four Android OS updates and six years of security updates on its India product page. The cited OnePlus 15 sources do not establish a comparable update commitment, so the two phones cannot be ranked on support duration from these figures alone.
Price difference: what the published India figures do and do not show
As accessed on October 4, 2026, the OnePlus India store listed the OnePlus 15 at ₹85,999 for 12GB/256GB and ₹93,999 for 16GB/512GB. The 12GB/256GB listing was marked as under urgent restocking, and store prices or availability can change (OnePlus India store).
OnePlus’s Nord 6 page describes the phone’s April 7, 2026 launch positioning as the ₹35,000–₹40,000 segment, not a current exact price for either storage variant. Therefore, those figures are not a like-for-like live price comparison, and subtracting one from the other would give a misleadingly precise answer. Check current listings for both models in India, matching storage variants and accounting for discounts, before deciding the price difference.
For context only, OnePlus announced North American OnePlus 15 launch prices on November 13, 2025: US$899.99/C$1,299.99 for 12GB/256GB and US$999.99/C$1,399.99 for 16GB/512GB. These are historical launch prices, not verified October 2026 prices; OnePlus noted U.S. pricing could change with market conditions. The cited sources do not establish Nord 6 availability or price in the U.S. or Canada (OnePlus North America launch release).
Quick Recap
Check regional details before buying
- Confirm the model and storage variant sold in your country; prices, network support and specifications may differ by region.
- For the Nord 6, OnePlus’s product-page footnote says: “5G-Advanced with Reliance Jio only.” Check carrier compatibility if that feature matters (OnePlus Nord 6 India).
- Verify the charging rate supported by your regional OnePlus 15 and whether the required adapter is included.
- Compare current prices for the same market and storage configuration rather than treating a launch-segment description as a current retail price.
