The OnePlus 13 is the better fit if you want a larger, sharper screen and a higher stated battery capacity; the Xiaomi 15 is the more compact, lighter option. Both list the Snapdragon 8 Elite platform, but official specifications alone cannot establish which performs better in sustained use or takes better photos. There is no reliable universal price winner: compare live prices in your country for matching storage and warranty terms.

Which phone has the better screen?
OnePlus 13: larger and higher resolution
OnePlus lists a 6.82-inch QHD+ panel with 3168 × 1440 resolution and a dynamic refresh rate from 1Hz to 120Hz. Choose it if screen area and resolution matter more than one-handed reach or pocketability.
Xiaomi 15: smaller footprint
Xiaomi lists a 6.36-inch display at 2670 × 1200 with a 1–120Hz refresh rate. It is the more compact option, with a narrower body that is easier to manage if you prefer a smaller phone. The refresh-rate range is similar on paper, but display size and resolution are not.

Which is smaller and lighter?
The Xiaomi 15 is narrower and lighter according to the manufacturers’ stated figures. Xiaomi lists its standard model at 71.2mm wide and 191g; OnePlus lists the OnePlus 13 at 76.5mm wide and 210–213g depending on finish. The difference is meaningful for grip and carrying comfort, though individual preference and case choice also affect how a phone feels.
Battery capacity and charging differences
OnePlus specifies a 6,000mAh dual-cell, non-removable battery. Xiaomi specifies 5,240mAh typical capacity. That makes the OnePlus figure larger, but capacity by itself does not establish which phone lasts longer: screen size, software, network conditions, workload and power management all affect endurance. Xiaomi advertises up to 25 hours of video playback based on Xiaomi Internal Labs; Xiaomi says actual results may vary, so this is not an independent comparison with the OnePlus 13.

Charging figures are region-dependent. OnePlus’s global specifications list 100W wired SUPERVOOC and 50W AIRVOOC wireless charging, while its US page lists 80W wired charging, up to 100W with the company’s 100W adapter. Xiaomi lists 90W HyperCharge and 50W wireless HyperCharge. Check the local product page and included-box contents before treating a charging rate or adapter as applicable to your purchase.

OnePlus lists three 50MP rear cameras: a wide camera, a telephoto camera with 3× optical zoom, and an ultra-wide camera. Xiaomi describes a Leica-branded triple-camera system, specifying a 50MP main camera with a Light Fusion 900 sensor alongside floating telephoto and ultra-wide cameras. These hardware descriptions do not show which phone produces better photos or video. Megapixel counts and camera branding cannot substitute for comparable testing across daylight, low light, zoom, portraits and video.

For context, OnePlus India lists MRP—not a guaranteed live selling price—of ₹69,999 for 12GB/256GB, ₹76,999 for 16GB/512GB and ₹89,999 for 24GB/1TB. Xiaomi India’s product page identifies a 12GB/512GB configuration but does not state a price in the returned page content. These figures do not establish a matched-configuration price gap. OnePlus’s US listing showed a starting price of $899.99 when accessed on 2026-10-07; that is not a comparable Xiaomi price and should be verified against the live listing before purchase. Which one should you choose?
Choose the OnePlus 13 if
- You prefer a larger, higher-resolution display.
- You value the higher stated battery capacity, while understanding that capacity does not guarantee longer runtime.
- You want a listed 3× optical telephoto camera and are checking regional charging support before buying.
Choose the Xiaomi 15 if
- You want a narrower, lighter phone with a smaller display.
- You are interested in Xiaomi’s Leica-branded camera system, without assuming branding proves better image quality.
- The locally available configuration, warranty and current price suit you better.
Both manufacturers list the Snapdragon 8 Elite platform. That shared specification does not prove identical real-world speed, thermal behavior or battery life; those require comparable testing. Verify local configurations and prices rather than choosing on a presumed universal price advantage.
