The OnePlus 13 is the stronger fit if you prioritize a higher-resolution display, Snapdragon 8 Elite, and a larger battery. The Motorola Signature stands out for a thinner, lighter design, a 165Hz display, four 50MP cameras, and an advertised update policy of up to seven Android upgrades and seven years of security updates. There is no fair universal price winner without matching the country and storage tier.
Compare the same market and storage tier first
The official prices available here are not like-for-like: OnePlus India lists model-specific MRPs, while Motorola announced a European starting MSRP. They should not be used to calculate a direct price difference. Both prices are market- and time-sensitive; check local availability and the exact configuration before deciding.

The OnePlus global specifications page lists 12GB/256GB and 16GB/512GB configurations; the India page also lists 24GB/1TB. Motorola’s US support page specifies 16GB RAM and 512GB storage, but regional variants may differ. Compare the local version actually offered, not a configuration assumed from another country. Performance: Snapdragon 8 Elite or Snapdragon 8 Gen 5
OnePlus lists the Snapdragon 8 Elite, while Motorola lists the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5. These are the manufacturers’ stated chipsets; the specifications alone do not establish which phone is faster in every app, game, or sustained workload. OnePlus lists up to 16GB RAM and 512GB storage globally, with a 24GB/1TB option on its India page. Motorola’s US support specifications list 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB UFS 4.1 storage. #1 Best Overall
Display: sharper resolution versus higher refresh rate
The OnePlus 13 has a 6.82-inch QHD+ LTPO display at 3168 × 1440, with a dynamic 1–120Hz refresh rate. Motorola specifies a 6.8-inch 2780 × 1264 display with refresh rates up to 165Hz. OnePlus therefore lists the higher resolution; Motorola lists the higher maximum refresh rate. Refresh rate is only one factor in display quality, and a 165Hz maximum does not by itself mean the screen looks better in every use. OnePlus global specifications Motorola US support specifications
Motorola’s US support page also lists a 6200-nit peak brightness figure. It is a manufacturer specification, not evidence of typical full-screen brightness or a direct brightness advantage in everyday conditions. Motorola US support specifications
Cameras: compare the lenses, not just the megapixels
Both phones have a 50MP main camera and a 50MP ultrawide, but their camera arrangements differ. OnePlus lists three rear cameras, including a 50MP 3× telephoto with optical image stabilization (OIS). Motorola describes four 50MP cameras: a main, 3× periscope telephoto, ultrawide/macro, and a front-facing selfie camera. Motorola therefore has a stated 50MP front camera; OnePlus’s cited launch announcement highlights a 50MP main, 50MP 3× telephoto, and 50MP ultrawide on the rear. Outbyte PC Repair FREEClear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsFree Scan →Outbyte Driver Updater FREEScan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteDriver Scan →OnePlus says its cameras support 4K Dolby Vision video. That is a listed feature, not a comparative video-quality test. Camera count, resolution, and lens labels do not settle which phone produces better photos; no controlled head-to-head result with enough published method detail establishes a general camera winner.

OnePlus lists a typical battery capacity of 6,000mAh, 100W wired charging, and 50W wireless charging. Motorola lists 5,200mAh, 90W wired charging, and 50W wireless charging. The OnePlus capacity and wired charging figures are higher on paper; both list the same wireless charging wattage. Actual endurance and charging experience cannot be determined from capacity and rated charging power alone. OnePlus global specifications Motorola launch announcement
Motorola’s announced estimate of up to 52 hours is approximate and based on median users following a mixed-use profile under optimal network conditions. Motorola says actual results vary with signal, settings, temperature, battery condition, and usage, so the figure is not a controlled comparison against the OnePlus 13. Motorola launch announcement
Software support: Motorola states a longer commitment
Motorola advertises up to seven Android OS upgrades and up to seven years of security updates, starting from global launch. The company cautions that support can vary by market, carrier, or model. The OnePlus sources cited here do not establish a comparable update-duration commitment, so there is not enough evidence for a precise like-for-like support-period comparison. Size, weight, and durability
Motorola’s US support specifications list the Signature at 186g and with IP68/IP69 protection. These figures are specific to that support listing and should not be assumed to apply identically to every regional variant. The specifications establish a useful weight figure, but the material here does not provide a matching OnePlus 13 weight for a verified side-by-side comparison. An IP rating describes a defined protection classification; it is not a promise that a phone is waterproof in every situation. Motorola US support specifications
Which phone should you choose?
- Choose the OnePlus 13 if you value its listed QHD+ resolution, Snapdragon 8 Elite, larger typical battery capacity, or 100W wired charging.
- Choose the Motorola Signature if you prefer its thinner, lighter design, higher listed maximum refresh rate, 50MP selfie camera, or stated extended software-support policy.
- Decide by local price and configuration if value is the deciding factor. Match storage and RAM in the same country, then check current seller, stock, warranty, and final price; the published India MRP and European MSRP are not a direct price comparison.
For both phones, treat performance, photography, battery life, and display quality as practical outcomes rather than conclusions guaranteed by a specification sheet. Marketplace offers and third-party ratings can change, and the cited comparison page does not provide enough methodology to establish an overall real-world winner. 91mobiles comparison page
