OnePlus 13 vs Motorola Edge 70 Pro Plus 5G: Which Is Better Value?

In India, the Motorola Edge 70 Pro Plus 5G has the lower displayed price, while the OnePlus 13 offers a higher-resolution LTPO display and a more powerful documented chipset tier. The better buy depends on the exact RAM and storage variant, live checkout price, and whether you value display sharpness and platform headroom over a larger listed battery and higher refresh-rate ceiling.

This comparison reflects India listings checked on 7 October 2026. Motorola’s detailed specifications and marketplace prices below are attributed to 91mobiles; they are not independently verified test results.

OnePlus 13 vs Motorola Edge 70 Pro Plus 5G: key specifications

Battery and charging 6,000mAh; 100W SUPERVOOC wired and 50W AIRVOOC wireless charging (OnePlus India) 6,500mAh; 90W TurboPower wired and wireless charging listed (91mobiles; wireless wattage not stated)

OnePlus’s official India specification page identifies the Snapdragon 8 Elite and configurations up to 24GB RAM and 1TB storage, giving it the stronger documented chipset and configuration tier in this pairing. That does not establish how either phone performs in a particular game or under sustained load; a comparable independent test would be needed for that.

The display trade-off is clearer on paper: OnePlus lists substantially higher resolution and a dynamic LTPO refresh range, while 91mobiles lists a higher maximum refresh rate for Motorola. Resolution and refresh rate describe different things, so neither specification alone settles which screen will look or feel better to an individual user.

India prices: compare the same configuration and offer type

Phone and configuration Price shown Price type and source
OnePlus 13, 12GB + 256GB ₹69,999 MRP listed by OnePlus India
OnePlus 13, 16GB + 512GB ₹76,999 MRP listed by OnePlus India
OnePlus 13, 24GB + 1TB ₹89,999 MRP listed by OnePlus India
Motorola Edge 70 Pro Plus 5G, 12GB + 256GB ₹47,999 (MRP ₹84,999) Price and MRP displayed on Motorola India storefront; checked 7 October 2026
OnePlus 13, configuration not specified in comparison price entry ₹57,994 Croma offer shown by 91mobiles; checked 7 October 2026
Motorola Edge 70 Pro Plus 5G, configuration not specified in comparison price entry ₹48,945 Amazon India offer shown by 91mobiles; checked 7 October 2026

The official prices and third-party marketplace offers are not a like-for-like comparison: the price pages mix MRPs and promotional offers, and the comparison entries do not identify a configuration. Don’t treat their difference as a guaranteed saving. Confirm the exact RAM/storage, seller, discount conditions, warranty, stock, and checkout total before buying.

Which phone has the better display?

The OnePlus 13 is the sharper-screen choice by listed resolution: its 6.82-inch panel is QHD+ at 3168 × 1440, with 510 ppi and dynamic 1–120Hz LTPO 4.1. Motorola’s 6.8-inch panel is listed by 91mobiles at 1272 × 2772 and 144Hz. The Motorola refresh-rate ceiling is higher; OnePlus’s resolution is higher and its refresh rate can vary dynamically across a wider range.

Choose based on what matters to you: finer detail and adaptive refresh specifications point toward OnePlus, while the higher listed peak refresh rate points toward Motorola. These specifications do not establish brightness, color accuracy, viewing comfort, or display quality in actual use.

How do their cameras compare?

Both phones are listed with three 50MP rear cameras, but matching megapixel counts do not mean matching image quality. OnePlus’s official specifications identify a 50MP Sony LYT-808 main camera with OIS, a 50MP 3× optical telephoto with OIS, and a 50MP ultrawide; its front camera is 32MP. 91mobiles lists Motorola’s 50MP primary, 50MP ultrawide/macro, and 50MP telephoto with up to 3.5× optical zoom, plus a 50MP front camera.

The listed telephoto reach and front-camera resolution favor Motorola on paper; OnePlus’s published main-camera details include a named sensor and stabilization information. Neither spec sheet establishes photo or video results across lighting, subjects, or zoom levels, so sample-based reviews are more useful for judging camera quality.

Battery capacity and charging: what the figures tell you

91mobiles lists the Motorola at 6,500mAh, 500mAh more than the OnePlus 13’s official 6,000mAh. OnePlus specifies 100W SUPERVOOC wired and 50W AIRVOOC wireless charging; 91mobiles lists Motorola with 90W TurboPower wired charging and wireless charging, without a wireless wattage in the comparison details.

Capacity is not a battery-life test: screen settings, network conditions, software, and workload affect endurance. Likewise, the listed charging wattage does not by itself establish how long a full charge takes in everyday conditions.

Durability and software details

OnePlus lists IP68/IP69 resistance for the OnePlus 13. An ingress-protection rating is not a promise that liquid or dust damage will be covered by warranty; check the applicable warranty and care documentation before exposing a phone to water or dust. The cited Motorola comparison details do not establish an equivalent resistance rating, so this comparison cannot make a supported rating-to-rating claim.

OnePlus specifies OxygenOS 15 based on Android 15, LPDDR5X memory, and UFS 4.0 storage. The cited Motorola comparison page does not provide comparable software version or memory/storage standards, so those details are not established here.

Which one should you buy?

  • Choose the OnePlus 13 if you want the higher-resolution LTPO display, the Snapdragon 8 Elite platform, an official option up to 24GB RAM/1TB storage, or the officially specified 50W wireless charging.
  • Consider the Motorola Edge 70 Pro Plus 5G if its current price for the 12GB/256GB listing is attractive to you, and you prefer the higher listed refresh-rate ceiling, larger listed battery, or up-to-3.5× telephoto specification.
  • Before deciding on value, compare live checkout prices for the same configuration and confirm seller, warranty, and offer conditions. The storefront and marketplace figures above are snapshots, not guaranteed current prices.
