The OnePlus 15R lists a newer chipset, a faster-refresh display and a larger battery than the OnePlus 11R, while the 11R lists faster wired charging and a dedicated macro camera. In the India price references available here, the 15R’s December 2025 launch price was ₹47,999, compared with the 11R’s official standard-variant MRP of ₹39,999—a difference of ₹8,000. These are not live, like-for-like prices, so check the exact variant and current retailer price before deciding.

How much more does the OnePlus 15R cost in India?
Comparing the 15R’s reported ₹47,999 December 2025 launch price with the 11R’s official ₹39,999 standard-variant MRP gives a ₹8,000 difference. Against the 11R Solar Red MRP of ₹45,999, the arithmetic difference is ₹2,000. The comparisons use different kinds of reference prices: one is a reported launch price and the other is an official MRP.

Prices can change by date, retailer, variant and availability. A September 11, 2026 report cited an Amazon price of ₹59,999 for the 15R, which is a retailer snapshot rather than a universal current price or official MRP. Gadgets 360, September 11, 2026. Check the seller’s current listing and confirm the storage and colour variant before treating any figure as the price you will pay.
Where the listed hardware differs
Chipset and display
The 15R’s listed Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 is a newer platform generation than the 11R’s Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1. Its listed 165 Hz refresh rate is also higher than the 11R’s 120 Hz. These are specification differences, not proof of a particular gaming frame rate, sustained performance advantage or visible improvement in every app.

OnePlus Community author Evan Z. described the 15R as the first smartphone with Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 and cited improvements of 36% CPU, 11% GPU and up to 46% AI performance. Those are OnePlus-attributed vendor claims, not independent 11R-versus-15R test results. OnePlus Community post.

Battery capacity and charging
The India product pages list a 7,400 mAh typical battery for the 15R and 5,000 mAh for the 11R. The 15R also has the lower listed charging rate: 80W versus 100W on the 11R. Battery capacity and charging wattage alone do not establish how long either phone lasts or how quickly it charges in practice; usage, conditions and charging setup matter.

Camera hardware
The 11R’s specification listing includes a separate 2 MP macro camera. The 15R listing emphasizes a 50 MP main camera with OIS and an 8 MP ultra-wide camera, alongside OnePlus’s 4K120 video claim. The 15R’s front camera is listed at 32 MP with autofocus, compared with the 11R’s 16 MP fixed-focus front camera. Resolution and focus specifications do not by themselves establish which phone produces better photos or video.

On listed hardware, the 15R is the stronger fit for someone prioritizing a newer chipset generation, a higher refresh-rate screen or greater stated battery capacity. The 11R has the higher listed wired charging wattage and a dedicated macro camera. Neither set of specifications establishes a universal winner: no independent direct comparison of battery endurance, sustained gaming, camera output or display performance is established here.
- Compare prices for the same storage and colour variant, and use a dated retailer price rather than assuming the launch price remains available.
- Choose based on the features you will use: chipset generation and refresh rate, battery capacity, charging rate, or camera configuration.
- Check the software update status for your region and confirm the package contents for the exact model before buying.
OnePlus’s specification pages are useful for listed hardware, but its promotional battery, camera and performance claims should not be treated as independent test results.
