Aida is worth shortlisting if you want an AI-assisted builder bundled with one.com hosting and your goal fits one of three set-ups: a general personal or small-business site, an appointment-based service business, or a small online store. It is not sold as an add-on to an arbitrary existing one.com plan. Generation is capped by a monthly AI allowance, and one.com itself says AI-generated content is not guaranteed to be accurate or legally compliant. Those three points should shape the decision more than the feature list does.
This review is based on one.com’s own product pages, plan feature table, FAQ, roadmap and a March 2026 announcement. We have not built a site with Aida under test conditions, and no independent usability study or third-party benchmark was available. What follows describes what one.com states about Aida, not how the tool performed in a controlled test.

What Aida is
Aida is one.com’s conversational website creation tool. You describe the site you want, ask the assistant to revise it, and switch to manual editing controls when you need precise changes. Aida is included in three hosting plans: Portfolio, Booking and Commerce. According to the official FAQ, it cannot be bought as an add-on to another one.com plan, so choosing Aida in practice means choosing one of these three hosting plans.

The three plans target different jobs, and the stated limits differ. The table below uses one.com’s plan overview and feature table as published; confirm the current figures before you sign up.

Before choosing, check the specific feature you depend on against the plan’s stated figure, and confirm whether any integration you rely on is included in that plan.
What the builder can do
The official feature table lists the following for Aida. These are product claims from one.com; we did not verify each item in use.
- Guided, freeform and modernization website generation
- Conversational editing alongside a visual editor
- Media management, contact forms and blog tools
- Basic SEO controls
The monthly AI allowance
Each plan includes a monthly AI usage allowance. Larger requests consume more of it, and usage resets monthly. When the allowance runs out, AI generation pauses until the reset, but supported manual edits remain available. Higher tiers include more usage, but the FAQ does not publish a numeric quota, so you cannot calculate exactly how many builds or revisions a plan allows.

Working within the allowance
- Generate the full layout early in the billing month, when you have the most allowance left.
- Use manual editing for small text, colour and image changes rather than re-prompting the assistant.
- Keep a copy of the wording you like, so a paused generation does not force you to start again after the reset.
Pricing and the free trial
The US product page advertises a 14-day free trial with no credit card required. The FAQ says you must start the trial before purchasing a paid Aida plan, so check the current checkout flow before you commit.

The UK product page lists first-year annual subscriptions, with a lower monthly-equivalent price in year one and a higher renewal amount for each tier. These UK figures are market-specific, so they are not reproduced here. If you are outside the UK, check your local checkout for the actual first-year price, the subscription term and the renewal amount. The renewal amount is the figure to budget for over the life of the site. The official material does not establish a single price that applies everywhere.
AI accuracy and legal review
The US product page states: “This tool uses AI to generate content. Accuracy and legal compliance are not guaranteed.” In practice, business facts such as opening hours, service prices and delivery areas need checking against your own records. Legal text such as privacy notices, terms of sale and refund policies should be reviewed by someone qualified before it goes live.

What is released and what is planned
one.com’s roadmap separates released features from planned ones. It lists SEO improvements for Q3–Q4 2026, templates and commerce updates for Q4 2026, and contact management for 2027. The roadmap states: “Please note that this overview reflects our current plans and priorities. Features, timelines, and the order of release may change and are not a commitment to a specific launch date.”

Aida for WordPress is a different product
one.com also offers an Aida AI Website Builder for WordPress. Its March 23, 2026 announcement carries the line “Build for free, pay only when you love it.” That statement concerns the WordPress product, not the three core Aida plans covered in this review, so do not assume the trial or payment terms carry over.
Marketing claims to discount
- “20+ years” appears on the UK product page as a company-experience claim. It is not an independent measure of how well the product performs.
- The pages say a site can be built in minutes and that Aida can save up to 20 hours a month in administrative work. Neither figure is quantified in a way that can be verified, so treat them as promotional language rather than typical outcomes.
Who should choose Aida, and who should check first
Aida is most likely to suit you if you want hosting and a builder under one account, your site needs match one of the three plans, you are comfortable reviewing AI output before publishing, and your monthly content volume fits a capped allowance. On the Booking plan, confirm what the 25-appointments-per-month figure means in practice before relying on it for a busy schedule.
Check more carefully before committing if you need a feature that does not appear in the official feature table, if you depend on a roadmap item, or if you need a plan that can be added to an existing one.com subscription. Also check the things the official material does not cover: export and migration options, support availability and response times, and any independent evidence of performance.
To compare Aida with another builder fairly, put the same items side by side, in the same market and for the same term:
- Plan price and renewal price
- Included hosting, domain and email
- AI generation and editing limits
- Blog and SEO controls
- Appointment capacity and calendar integrations
- Ecommerce shipping, payment options and transaction charges
- Export or migration options and support availability
The official material does not establish how Aida ranks against other builders on these points, so be cautious about any ranking claim, including ours.
