Neither set of specifications establishes which mask produces better results. Choose based on the routine and product details that suit you, and treat regulatory claims carefully: the FDA record cited here is for Omnilux CLEAR, not Contour.

What the specifications can—and cannot—tell you
The wavelengths are close but not identical: Omnilux lists 633 nm red and 830 nm near-infrared, while BON CHARGE lists 630 nm and 850 nm. BON CHARGE also publishes an LED count and irradiance figure; Omnilux lists its LED count. A higher LED count or a published irradiance value alone does not show that a mask delivers better outcomes. The material available does not establish a controlled head-to-head clinical comparison.

Choose by the routine you are likely to follow
Omnilux: a shorter stated session
Omnilux recommends a 10-minute session three to five times weekly for four to six weeks, followed by maintenance as desired. The manufacturer says Contour is intended for people 21 and older, advises using it only three to five times weekly, and does not recommend use outside its instructions. Follow the instructions for the exact model you buy.
BON CHARGE: a flexible session window
BON CHARGE recommends 10–20 minutes several times per week. That broader session window may suit someone who prefers flexibility in session length, but the guidance is not evidence that longer sessions are more effective. Use the current manual rather than extrapolating beyond the manufacturer’s directions.
Read the FDA language by exact model
Omnilux’s Contour product page describes Contour as FDA-cleared. However, the FDA record cited here, 510(k) K210948, is for Omnilux CLEAR, a separate over-the-counter device intended to treat mild-to-moderate acne vulgaris on the face. The FDA decision date for that CLEAR record is June 24, 2021. It is not a Contour record and does not establish Contour’s indication. The manufacturer’s statement about Contour should not be confused with this CLEAR-specific FDA record. See the FDA 510(k) summary for K210948.
BON CHARGE states on its product page that FDA or TGA have not evaluated its product claims and characterizes the mask as a general-use beauty product. FDA registration and FDA clearance are not interchangeable terms; when regulatory status matters to your decision, verify the record for the exact model and intended use.

- Need more proof? Each mask features a unique Veritace NFC card that provides information on how your individual mask delivers results.
Safety and use considerations
BON CHARGE’s manual warns users not to stare directly at the LEDs or their reflection, and advises consulting a doctor or physician before use. Its product FAQ also advises people with photosensitivity to consult a healthcare professional. Review the current manual and ask a clinician about personal contraindications or other health concerns. Omnilux says Contour is not designed to clear acne and identifies its separate CLEAR model for mild-to-moderate acne.
Warranty, returns, and price
Omnilux publishes a two-year device warranty and one-year controller warranty for Contour; BON CHARGE lists a one-year mask warranty and a 30-day returns/exchanges policy subject to its terms. Warranty and return conditions can vary by region or change, so confirm the terms that apply where you are buying.
Omnilux listed Contour at $395 on its product page when it was accessed in 2026. That is a volatile, geography-specific price, not a guaranteed current price. No comparable BON CHARGE price is established here; check each seller’s current regional listing before deciding.
Quick Recap
Which one should you choose?
- Consider Omnilux if its published 10-minute routine, stated device/controller warranty split, and manufacturer’s Contour regulatory wording align with your preferences. Keep in mind that the FDA record discussed above is for CLEAR, not Contour.
- Consider BON CHARGE if its published 10–20-minute session window, LED count, and disclosed irradiance are the product details you value. Those specifications do not demonstrate superior results.
- For either mask, check fit on your face, included eye cups, current instructions, local price, and applicable warranty and return terms. The available information does not establish which mask is more comfortable on a particular face.
