Visible excerpts are mixed: one reviewer says the oven does the job well; another reports a faulty factory finish on an initial unit and says the cooling fan continued for about an hour after switching off; a third found the manual’s clock-setting directions difficult to follow. Temperature and dimensions: verify before relying on them
The maximum-temperature specification is inconsistent. The Omega specification sheet, updated 23 December 2016, states 250°C; Appliances Online lists 270°C. Neither figure should be treated as definitive without checking the rating plate on the specific oven or current Omega documentation. This matters if you need a particular high-heat setting for a recipe or are comparing the oven with another model.

The manufacturer sheet and retailer listing give external dimensions of 477 mm high × 893 mm wide × 550 mm deep. These are appliance dimensions, not a guarantee that the oven will fit a particular cabinet opening. Check the OO986X manual’s installation diagrams against the actual cabinet cut-out and the measurements of the individual appliance; the technical sheet cautions that manufacturer dimensions may vary.
