OBS में network dropped frames बढ़ रहे हों, तो सबसे पहले stream bitrate घटाकर देखें और अपने वास्तविक stream workload में YouTube Stream Health जाँचें। यह counter आम तौर पर बताता है कि OBS आपके चुने हुए bitrate पर YouTube के ingest server से स्थिर connection नहीं बना पा रहा—यह अपने-आप में rendering lag, encoding lag या दर्शकों के playback buffering का संकेत नहीं है। भारत के creators के लिए कोई अलग, प्रमाणित OBS setting नहीं है: सही bitrate वही है जिसे आपका connection लगातार YouTube तक पहुँचा सके।
पहले पहचानें: OBS में कौन-सा counter बढ़ रहा है?
OBS के Stats dock में dropped frames और connection indicator देखें। OBS के अनुसार बढ़ता हुआ dropped-frames counter और पीला या लाल connection indicator streaming server के साथ अस्थिर connection या चुने हुए bitrate के लिए अपर्याप्त throughput का संकेत है। OBS अस्थिर connection या अपर्याप्त throughput की भरपाई के लिए frames छोड़ सकता है। OBS की Stream Connection Troubleshooting guide और OBS Help Portal इस समस्या को network connection की दिशा में जाँचने का आधार देते हैं।
- Network dropped frames: OBS से remote ingest server तक connection या throughput जाँचें।
- Rendering या encoding lag: ये अलग counters और अलग समस्याएँ हैं। यदि वे बढ़ें लेकिन network dropped frames नहीं, तो network वाली setting को इलाज न मानें; संबंधित OBS performance या encoding troubleshooting देखें।

वास्तविक stream जैसी test करें
YouTube पर जाने से पहले test stream चलाएँ जिसमें audio और movement आपके planned stream जैसे हों। Live Control Room में stream health और दिखाई देने वाले संदेश देखें। Speed test upload क्षमता का अंदाज़ा देता है, लेकिन एक अकेला नतीजा यह साबित नहीं करता कि आपका connection YouTube तक पूरे stream में स्थिर रहेगा। YouTube की encoder से YouTube live stream बनाने की guide पहले से test करने और event के दौरान health देखने की सलाह देती है।
कम bitrate से शुरू करें, फिर सावधानी से बढ़ाएँ

YouTube के वर्तमान encoder-setting table में H.264 के लिए 1080p, 60 fps पर 12 Mbps recommended है (YouTube Help, 2026-10-03 को जाँचा गया)। इसे उस configuration के लिए YouTube की recommendation समझें, न कि हर creator के लिए अनिवार्य bitrate या भारत के creators के मापे हुए upload का आँकड़ा। यदि आपका स्थिर upload इसे सहन नहीं करता, तो इसी संख्या पर अड़े रहने के बजाय bitrate या output quality घटाएँ। YouTube के codec, resolution और frame-rate के अनुसार live table को सेटअप करते समय जाँचें, क्योंकि इसकी सिफारिशें बदल सकती हैं: Choose live encoder settings, bitrates, and resolutions।
YouTube और OBS की encoder settings मिलाएँ
YouTube की encoder guide RTMP/RTMPS, CBR और दो सेकंड की recommended keyframe frequency बताती है; keyframe interval चार सेकंड से अधिक न रखें। YouTube optimal transcoding के लिए closed GOP भी बताता है। Resolution और बाकी stream configuration को Live Control Room में चुनी गई stream के अनुरूप रखें। ये ingest settings हैं; इन्हें सही करना उपयोगी है, लेकिन यदि connection bitrate नहीं उठा पा रहा तो केवल keyframe बदलने से network dropped frames का मूल कारण दूर नहीं होगा।

YouTube Live Control Room के ingest संदेश पढ़ें और उसी setting की जाँच करें जिसका संकेत error दे रहा है। हर YouTube warning को network fault न मानें: YouTube की Live streaming error messages guide में संदेश के हिसाब से जाँच करें।
Connection की संभावित दिक्कतें एक-एक करके जाँचें
- Ethernet आज़माएँ: जहाँ व्यावहारिक हो, Wi-Fi की जगह wired Ethernet इस्तेमाल करें। OBS के अनुसार Wi-Fi streaming के लिए अस्थिर हो सकता है। Ethernet cable एक वैकल्पिक उपाय है, लेकिन यह ISP की समस्या, router fault, congestion या YouTube तक खराब route को ठीक नहीं कर सकती।
- दूसरा ingest server चुनकर test करें: यदि OBS या streaming service server चुनने देती है, तो दूसरे server पर test करें। सुधार मिलने पर service या route से जुड़ी समस्या की संभावना दिख सकती है; इससे यह साबित नहीं होता कि आपका home connection पूरी तरह ठीक है।
- VPN और network utilities देखें: OBS VPN, firewall या antivirus interference, Lenovo Vantage या Killer NIC जैसे bundled network-optimization tools, और पुराने network drivers को संभावित कारणों में गिनता है। एक समय में एक चीज़ जाँचें। Security software को अस्थायी रूप से बंद करना हो, तो केवल diagnostic check के रूप में करें और बाद में सुरक्षा बहाल करें; ज़रूरत पर ही सीमित exception जोड़ें।
- OBS के Windows network विकल्प देखें: OBS में Settings → Advanced → Network पर network optimizations और TCP pacing सक्षम करना एक संभावित उपाय है। ये विकल्प हर स्थिति का समाधान नहीं हैं।
- Dynamic bitrate को समझकर चालू करें: OBS का dynamic bitrate connection साथ न दे तो bitrate कम कर सकता है। इससे stream चलती रह सकती है, पर quality घट सकती है; यह मूल network कारण ठीक नहीं करता।
- IP family को default पर छोड़ें: OBS IPv4 और IPv6 को default रूप से रहने देने की सलाह देता है। यदि IPv4-only आज़माने से कोई फर्क न पड़े, तो उसी बदलाव पर टिके रहने की आवश्यकता नहीं।

- OBS में पुष्टि करें कि बढ़ने वाला counter network dropped frames है, न कि rendering या encoding lag।
- Audio और movement सहित वास्तविक stream जैसी test चलाएँ; OBS connection indicator और YouTube Stream Health देखें।
- Bitrate घटाएँ और test दोहराएँ। यदि स्थिरता लौटती है, तो पुराना bitrate उपलब्ध स्थिर throughput से अधिक था या connection में उतार-चढ़ाव था।
