Battery and charging
realme advertises a 7000mAh battery and 80W Ultra Charge on its global product page. Gadgets 360 lists the Nothing at 5400mAh and 50W charging. The realme therefore has the higher stated capacity and charging wattage, but those figures alone do not show how long either phone lasts or how quickly it charges in comparable conditions. realme’s phrase “Charges Once. Lasts Two Days.” is marketing language, not an independently verified battery-life result. realme’s global product page
#1 Best Overall
- Google Pixel 10a is a durable, everyday phone with more[1]; snap brilliant photography on a simple, powerful camera, get 30+ hours out of a full charge[2], and do more with helpful AI like Gemini[3]
- Unlocked Android phone gives you the flexibility to change carriers and choose your own data plan; it works with Google Fi, Verizon, T-Mobile, AT&T, and other major carriers
- Pixel 10a is sleek and durable, with a super smooth finish, scratch-resistant Corning Gorilla Glass 7i display, and IP68 water and dust protection[4]
- The Actua display with 3,000-nit peak brightness shows up clear as day, even in direct sunlight[5]
- Plan, create, and get more done with help from Gemini, your built-in AI assistant[3]; have it screen spam calls while you focus[6]; chat with Gemini to brainstorm your meal plan[7], or bring your ideas to life with Nano Banana[8]
Cameras
The comparison lists three rear cameras for Nothing (50MP, 50MP and 8MP) and two for realme (200MP and 8MP). It also lists a 32MP front camera for Nothing and a 50MP front camera for realme. These are resolution and camera-count differences, not a photo-quality ranking: megapixels do not establish detail, color, low-light results or consistency, and no direct camera test is available here.
Display and processing
The realme’s listed display has a higher refresh rate and resolution: 144Hz and 1272 × 2772, compared with 120Hz and 1224 × 2720 for the Nothing. The Nothing display is listed as slightly larger at 6.78 inches versus 6.75 inches. No measured brightness or color comparison is established. The phones use different processors, but identifying those chips does not show which feels faster; that would require comparable performance testing.
Software and protection ratings
Both phones are listed with Android 16, but the comparison names Nothing OS 4.1 for the Nothing and realme UI 7.0 for the realme. Smartprix additionally lists three years of OS updates and six years of security updates for Nothing, versus three years of OS updates and four years of security updates for realme. Treat those support periods as comparison-page listings and confirm the applicable official policy for the exact market and model before relying on them. Smartprix’s comparison
Gadgets 360 lists IP64 for Nothing and IP69 for realme. realme’s global page separately claims IP66, IP68, IP69 and IP69K. Because ratings can differ by market or model, check the rating for the exact regional version. Neither rating means a phone is waterproof or should be deliberately submerged.
Quick Recap
Which phone should you choose?
- Choose the Nothing Phone (4a) if the lower listed India comparison price and its three-camera rear configuration matter more to you. The camera count does not guarantee better photos.
- Consider the realme 16 Pro 5G if its listed 7000mAh battery, 80W charging and 144Hz display match your priorities, and you are willing to pay ₹9,000 more at the cited snapshot price. The specifications do not prove longer endurance or a particular charge time.
- Compare in person or seek independent tests if your decision depends on camera output, speed, display quality or battery life. The specifications alone cannot settle those real-use questions.
Check before buying in India
- Verify the live price, storage/RAM configuration and seller; the cited prices are a dated comparison snapshot.
- Confirm that the listing is the India-market model, with the warranty and network compatibility you need.
- Check the exact variant’s software-update policy and ingress-protection rating rather than assuming every regional version matches comparison pages or global marketing.
