For context, Nothing Community announced a launch-time India price of ₹24,999 for the Phone (3a) 8GB/128GB variant in 2025. That historical launch price is not a current street-price quote. Nothing Community’s launch announcement gives that figure.

Redmi Note 15 SE 5G: main camera and depth sensor
Xiaomi lists a 50MP main camera and a 2MP depth camera. The depth sensor is not a second zoom or ultrawide camera, so the listed rear setup offers fewer framing options than Nothing’s.
This is a hardware comparison, not a verdict on photo quality. The available evidence does not establish which phone takes better pictures in daylight, at night, or with moving subjects. Selfie camera resolution is 32MP on Nothing and 20MP on Redmi, but megapixels alone do not determine selfie quality.

Battery capacity, charging and display: what the numbers tell you
Battery and charging
Xiaomi lists a 5800mAh typical-capacity battery and 45W charging; its specifications page also lists a charger in the box. Nothing lists 5000mAh and 50W charging. Redmi therefore has the larger stated capacity, while Nothing has the higher rated charging wattage. Neither capacity nor wattage establishes real-world battery life or the time required for a full charge. Nothing’s product page describes its charging proposition as “50W Fast Charge, a day’s power in under 20 mins”; that is a manufacturer claim, not a comparative test result.
Display
Both phones are listed with 6.77-inch displays and refresh rates up to 120Hz. Nothing specifies FHD+ flexible AMOLED and a 3000-nit peak-brightness claim; Xiaomi specifies a 2392 × 1080 curved AMOLED panel and a 3200-nit peak claim. Those peak figures come from the manufacturers, not a common measurement, so the 200-nit difference should not be treated as proof that Redmi is brighter in every situation.

Nothing’s India product page describes Nothing OS 3. 91mobiles lists the Nothing at 201g and IP64. Xiaomi lists the Redmi at 178g in black or white and 182g in crimson, and describes IP65/IP66 certification. Performance: why a chipset name is not a test result
