Nothing’s regional comparison page also gives different autofocus descriptions for the main cameras, but the listed resolution and optical stabilization are shared. The standout rear-camera difference is optical reach: the Pro’s 3x optical zoom is longer than the 3a’s 2x. In-sensor and “ultra zoom” figures are separate manufacturer specifications; they should not be treated as equivalent to optical zoom. IP64 is the rating Nothing lists for both; it does not establish protection against immersion.
What is the Phone (3a) Pro price difference?
Prices depend on country, configuration, storefront and sale status. In the price display on Nothing’s Europe comparison page, the Phone (3a) started at €329 and the Pro at €419, a displayed difference of €90. The page does not establish that those prices are a current, regular price or apply across Europe, so check the local storefront before relying on them.

For the UK, Nothing’s Phone (3a) Pro listing showed the 12+256 GB version at £399 and marked it sold out when captured. Nothing’s UK phone collection also listed the Pro at £399. The available UK listings do not establish a matching current Phone (3a) price, so they do not support a current UK price-gap calculation.
Nothing’s US Pro product page showed $459 for the 12+256 GB configuration. That is a different market and configuration-specific price display, not a basis for estimating the Pro premium elsewhere. The cited official price displays were captured on October 4, 2026; confirm both phones’ live listings, the same storage tier, and sale status in your country before comparing.

Which phone should you choose?
Choose the Phone (3a) Pro for camera reach and selfies
The Pro is the more relevant option if you want a 3x optical telephoto camera or prefer the higher stated front-camera resolution of 50 MP rather than 32 MP. Those are the clearest listed hardware distinctions; Nothing’s zoom-limit figures alone do not show how well either phone performs in actual photos.

Choose the Phone (3a) if the Pro’s camera changes do not justify the local premium
Nothing lists the same Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 5G processor, 6.77-inch 120 Hz flexible AMOLED display, 5,000 mAh battery, 50 W charging and 8 MP ultra-wide camera for both. If those shared specifications meet your needs and you do not value the Pro’s telephoto reach or front-camera resolution, compare the local prices before paying extra.
