The Nothing Phone (2a) Plus adds a higher-clocked processor, faster listed charging and a higher-resolution selfie camera. The two phones share a 5,000 mAh battery, a 6.7-inch 120 Hz display and the same listed rear-camera resolutions. There is no reliable universal price gap: Nothing’s regional Plus listings differed, and a fair comparison requires current prices for both models in the same market.

What is different between the two phones?
Phone (2a) Plus has the higher-clocked processor and graphics
Nothing lists the Plus with a Dimensity 7350 Pro 5G processor clocked up to 3.0 GHz, compared with the Phone (2a)’s Dimensity 7200 Pro 5G at up to 2.8 GHz. Its listed Mali-G610 MC4 graphics clock is also higher: 1.3 GHz rather than 1.0 GHz. That makes the Plus the stronger specification on paper, but clock speeds alone do not establish how much faster it will feel in a particular app or game.

The Plus has faster listed charging, not a larger battery
Both phones are listed with a 5,000 mAh battery. The Plus supports 50 W charging against 45 W for the Phone (2a), a 5 W difference in the stated charging rate. These specifications alone do not establish actual charging times.
The Plus has a 50 MP selfie camera
The front-camera resolution is 50 MP on the Plus and 32 MP on the Phone (2a). This is the clearest camera hardware distinction in the comparison for people who take selfies or use the front camera frequently. Nothing lists the same rear-camera setup for both: a 50 MP main camera with OIS and autofocus, plus a 50 MP ultrawide with a 114° field of view. The resolution figures do not, by themselves, show which phone takes better-looking photos.
What is shared?
Nothing’s comparison lists the same display size, refresh rate and peak brightness for both models: a 6.7-inch flexible AMOLED panel, 120 Hz and 1,300 nits peak. Nothing Support gives additional Phone (2a) Plus display figures: 1080 × 2412 resolution, 394 PPI, 500-nit normal brightness and 700-nit high-brightness mode. Those extra figures are specifically stated for the Plus in that support listing.
Both phones are listed with IP54 and NFC. NFC availability can vary by market, so check the specifications for the version sold where you live. Nothing Support says both SIMs can register on 4G simultaneously, but only the primary data SIM can use data service.

Phone (2a) Plus price difference
There is no single global price difference established by the regional listings. On October 7, 2026, Nothing Europe displayed a €399 starting price for the Plus with €429 crossed out; Nothing Germany displayed €379 with €429 crossed out. These are different regional listings, not two prices that can be combined into a universal figure. Neither one establishes the Phone (2a)’s price or the gap between the models.
To calculate the difference where you live, compare the current Phone (2a) and Phone (2a) Plus prices from the same market and retailer, using comparable storage configurations where possible. Subtract the Phone (2a) price from the Plus price. Regional promotions, stock, configurations and tax treatment can change the result, so check both listings at the same time.
