Nothing describes the processor as 10% faster than the Phone (2a); that is the manufacturer’s comparison, not an independent benchmark result. The company also advertises charging from zero to 100% in 56 minutes and to 50% in 21 minutes. These are manufacturer figures, not independently tested results here.
Which Phone (2a) Plus configuration should you buy: 8GB or 12GB?
Both configurations have 256GB of storage, so the choice is about physical RAM and price rather than storage capacity.

LTE Bands: 4/5/66. 5G Bands: not supported. T-Mobile: T-Mobile: 3G, 4G and 5G are supported, however, not all 5G bands are supported. LTE Bands: 4/5/41/66. 5G Bands: N41. Verizon: Compatibility with Verizon is very limited. We do not recommend using CMF Phone 1 with Verizon. Verizon 5G and CDMA networks are not supported. 4G is supported. Prior to using your CMF Phone 1, you will need to contact Verizon customer service to add CMF Phone 1 IMEI to their database. LTE Bands: 4/5/66. 5G Bands: not supported.
- Choose 8GB/256GB if it is meaningfully cheaper and your usual use is browsing, messaging, video and everyday apps.
- Choose 12GB/256GB if you keep many apps open, expect heavier multitasking, or the price difference is small enough to justify more physical RAM.
Nothing’s “20GB RAM” wording for the 12GB model combines 12GB of physical RAM with an 8GB RAM Booster that uses storage. It is not 20GB of physical memory.
What is the Phone (2a) Plus price in India?
There is no single verified live transaction price for 4 October 2026. The available figures are dated or retailer-listing snapshots, so treat them as reference points rather than guaranteed offers.
| Price evidence | What it represents |
|---|---|

| ₹22,999 | Gadgets 360 reported this as the lowest Amazon price on 11 September 2026. The page also showed listings that were out of stock, so this does not establish availability on 4 or 7 October. Gadgets 360 |
The official India page’s retrieved display rendered “₹19.99,” which is malformed and should not be treated as a phone price. Check the current listing and final checkout amount directly before buying.

- Confirm that the listing is for the exact 8GB/256GB or 12GB/256GB variant and the colour you want.
- Check seller identity, stock and delivery to your postcode.
- Compare the checkout total after any bank or exchange offer; headline discounts may have conditions.
- Read the warranty and return terms for that seller and listing.
- Budget for a wall adapter if needed: Nothing’s listed box contents include a USB-C cable but no charger.
Cameras, display and performance: what the specifications mean
Three 50MP cameras
The rear setup pairs a 50MP main camera with optical and electronic stabilisation and a 50MP ultra-wide camera. The front camera is also 50MP. Nothing lists 4K recording at 30fps; 1080p recording is available at 30fps and 60fps. Megapixel counts alone do not establish image quality, and no independent camera testing is cited here.
120Hz AMOLED display
The 6.7-inch AMOLED panel has an adaptive refresh rate up to 120Hz. Nothing gives separate brightness figures: 700 nits typical, 1,100 nits in high-brightness mode and 1,300 nits peak. These are different specified modes, not one continuously guaranteed brightness level.
Dimensity 7350 Pro
The phone uses an eight-core MediaTek Dimensity 7350 Pro 5G processor with a stated maximum clock of 3.0GHz and Mali-G610 MC4 graphics. Nothing’s 10% faster comparison with the Phone (2a) is a company claim; it should not be read as a promise that every task or app will run 10% faster.
Rank #2
- Made from the high quality tempered-glass for maximum scratch protection and no residue when removed
- 2.5D rounded edge glass for comfort on the fingers and hand
- 9H hardness, 99.99% HD clarity, and maintains the original touch experience
- Hydrophobic and oleo-phobic coating to reduce sweat and reduce fingerprints
- Include 2 pcs tempered glass screen protectors
Battery, charging and what comes in the box
The battery is rated at 5,000mAh and wired fast charging is specified at 50W. Nothing advertises 56 minutes for a full charge and 21 minutes to reach 50%; actual charging time can depend on conditions. The official material available here does not establish which third-party adapter reaches the maximum rate, so check Nothing’s compatibility guidance before choosing a charger.
Nothing lists the box contents as:
- Phone (2a) Plus
- 100cm USB-C cable
- Pre-applied screen protector
- SIM tray ejector tool
- Safety card
A wall adapter is not on that list. If you are buying a separate case, make sure it is specifically for the Phone (2a) Plus; compatibility with the Phone (2a) should not be assumed.
Software support and physical details
The product page describes Nothing OS 2.6 based on Android 14 and promises three years of Android updates plus four years of security patches. It does not provide a dated end-of-support calendar date, so the duration should not be converted into a specific final update date without a confirmed start point.
The handset measures 161.7 × 76.3 × 8.5mm, weighs 190g and carries an IP54 rating. 5G access depends on local carrier support, and NFC availability can vary by market.
Is the Nothing Phone (2a) Plus worth considering?
It is a plausible option if you want 256GB storage, a high-refresh-rate AMOLED display, three 50MP cameras and a 50W charging specification. Whether it is good value depends on the exact variant’s checkout price and your priorities. A fair value comparison with the Phone (2a) also requires current prices for both models; the dated price snapshots above do not settle that question.
