Nintendo’s U.S. product page lists the console, a digital download of Mario Kart World, and a code for a three-month Nintendo Switch Online Individual Membership. The game is not a physical cartridge, and the membership arrives as a code.

How to interpret the price and stated savings
Nintendo announced a suggested bundle price of $549.99 and says the package saves $37.98 compared with buying the system, game, and membership separately at their suggested retail prices. Nintendo also notes that actual savings may vary. That figure is not a promise that the bundle beats every retailer’s individual component prices.

Tom’s Guide reported the bundle at Amazon for $549 in its October 1 early-deals roundup and again in its October 6 Prime Day coverage. Nintendo’s $549.99 suggested price and Tom’s Guide’s $549 Amazon report are figures from different sources; the live listing may differ. Nintendo’s announcement says the bundle is available while supplies last.
What to check before you order
- Current price: Compare the displayed price and checkout total with the current individual prices of the console, game, and membership rather than relying on Nintendo’s suggested-price savings calculation.
- Seller and fulfillment: Confirm who is selling and shipping the item on the live listing.
- Stock and delivery: Verify that the bundle can be ordered and check the delivery estimate for your address. Recent deal coverage cannot establish current availability.
- Bundle fit: The included game is digital, and the membership is a three-month code. Consider whether those suit your needs before comparing the package with a console-only purchase.
- Event timing: Tom’s Guide’s October 7 live coverage says Prime Day ends that night. That does not establish that the bundle will stop being sold after the event.
Switch 2 specifications relevant to the bundle
Nintendo lists a 7.9-inch 1080p screen and 256GB of internal storage. With a compatible game and television, the system supports up to 4K resolution when docked. Storage expansion requires a microSD Express card, sold separately. GameChat video chat requires a compatible USB camera, also sold separately. These are Nintendo’s published specifications, not independent performance-test results.
