Which bundle should you buy?
Choose Mario Kart World if that is the game you want
The $549.99 bundle includes the game and a 90-day Individual membership. It is the direct fit for someone who wants Mario Kart World and values the membership period. If you would not use the membership, do not count its inclusion as useful savings; also account for the auto-renewal condition shown on Nintendo’s product page.

Wait for Sports Resort if you prefer that game
Nintendo lists the Sports Resort bundle at $529.99, $20 below the Mario Kart World bundle, with a digital game and the same membership duration. Its stated availability date is October 22, 2026, so it is not the right choice for someone who needs a bundle sooner.
#1 Best Overall
- The next evolution of Nintendo Switch
- One system, three play modes: TV, Tabletop, and Handheld
- Larger, vivid, 7.9” LCD touch screen with support for HDR and up to 120 fps
- Dock that supports 4K when connected to a compatible TV*
- GameChat** lets you voice chat, share your game screen, and connect via video chat as you play
Consider Choose Your Game if one of its three titles suits you
At a $499.99 suggested retail price, the offer is the lowest-priced of these game bundles on Nintendo’s stated figures. It can be compelling if you want Mario Kart World, Donkey Kong Bananza, or Pokémon Pokopia. It is a limited-time offer through participating retailers, not a guaranteed ongoing price or universally available option.
Buy the console alone if you want a different game or no bundle extras
The $449.99 figure is Nintendo’s April 2025 launch MSRP, not a verified current street price. Use it only as a historical baseline when comparing a live standalone listing against the bundle you are considering.

Is the Mario Kart World bundle worth it?
It is worth considering if you already want Mario Kart World, will use the 90-day online membership, and can find the bundle at a checkout price that beats buying the same items separately. Nintendo’s $37.98 savings figure is based on separate suggested retail prices; actual savings may differ by retailer. If you do not want the game or membership, the advertised savings do not establish value for you. Compare it with the $499.99 Choose Your Game offer if that promotion remains available and Mario Kart World is one of your preferred choices.
How to compare actual value before checkout
- Confirm the exact title and format. Each game inclusion described here is digital. The Choose Your Game offer provides a redemption code for one selected game.
- Check whether you value the membership. The Mario Kart World and Sports Resort bundles include a 90-day Individual membership. Do not assign it full value if you would not otherwise use it.
- Compare the same items at current prices. Check the retailer’s price for the exact bundle SKU and compare it with separate prices for the console, game, and membership, where relevant.
- Use the final checkout total. Include tax and shipping, and compare the actual amount you will pay rather than Nintendo’s stated savings alone.
- Verify stock and offer terms. Nintendo reported the Mario Kart listing unavailable when checked; Sports Resort has a scheduled October 22, 2026 date; Choose Your Game is limited-time and while supplies last.
What to know about the console itself
The bundles center on the same Nintendo Switch 2 system. Nintendo lists a 7.9-inch 1080p LCD screen, Joy-Con 2 controllers, TV, tabletop, and handheld play modes, and 256GB of internal storage. TV output can reach 4K with a compatible game and display, and is capped at 60 fps. A compatible microSD Express card for expanded storage is sold separately. Nintendo’s package list includes the console, Joy-Con 2 left and right controllers, AC adapter, USB-C charging cable, dock, Joy-Con 2 grip and straps, and Ultra High Speed HDMI cable.
