Does PREPi make a $27 salad habit cheaper?
That conclusion is not supported by the launch information. SharkNinja’s reference is to an $18 salad, presented as a marketing comparison, and the company does not publish an independently measured typical salad price or a PREPi savings calculation. Whether making lunch at home costs less depends on ingredients, portions, food waste and what you would otherwise buy. The product’s price alone cannot show that it will pay for itself.

The savings and convenience case should also be treated as unproven until independent evidence is available. SharkNinja promotes faster prep, fewer dishes and convenient storage, but the available product information does not establish actual time saved, cleanup burden, durability, noise or whether PREPi outperforms a knife or a full-size food processor.

Who should consider each model?
- PN301: Consider it if the listed chop, purée, slice, shred and crinkle-cut functions fit your cooking and you do not need dicing included. Add the separately sold kit only if you want that function.
- PN351: Consider it if you want the dicing kit in the box and are comfortable with the higher listed manufacturer price. The included kit is the central difference identified between the configurations.
Neither configuration is proven here to replace a knife, other kitchen equipment or the cost of buying lunch. Compare the included functions and current product-page details against the foods you actually prepare.
