In the United States, Nike says most purchases can be returned or exchanged within 60 days of online delivery or a Nike store purchase. You need proof of purchase, and some products and locations are excluded. For an online order, open it in Nike order history and choose Start a Return or Exchange. These terms are U.S.-specific; return rules differ by country.
What is Nike’s return policy?
Nike’s U.S. policy allows returns or exchanges for most purchases within 60 days, counted from the date an online order is delivered or the date of a Nike store purchase. Purchases made from another retailer must be returned to that retailer, not to Nike. Check the exceptions for your specific item before starting a return, since some products and purchases have shorter windows or are not returnable.
What can be returned?
Most Nike purchases may qualify within the 60-day U.S. window if you have proof of purchase, but these exclusions and special terms apply:

- Nike x LEGO sets: Must be sealed and unopened.
- Apple Watch accessories: Nike says these must be returned within 14 days of delivery.
- Nike Clearance stores: Purchases from these stores are final, and the stores do not accept returns. Items bought at other Nike stores or online cannot be returned at a Nike Clearance store.
- Shipping fees: Not refundable unless Nike sent an incorrect item.

How do I return my Nike order?
Return an online order by mail
- Open your order in Nike order history and select Start a Return or Exchange.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to select the item and return method. Eligible Nike Members may be offered replacement items for an exchange.
- Package the item and send it using the option shown for your account. Nike Members can use a UPS return QR code at a UPS Store for free shipping; take the boxed item to the store within 21 days of starting the return. Members can instead print a prepaid label and use an eligible UPS location, or arrange pickup for a fee.
- Guests print a return label, choose a carrier, and pay the shipping cost. Nike advises guests to contact Nike for exchange help.

Return an online order at a Nike store
Bring the item and proof of purchase to a Nike store that is not a Nike Clearance store. Nike accepts an order number, order barcode, or original store receipt as proof. The company says an in-store return is faster than mailing the item for receiving a refund or replacement.

Return a Nike store purchase by mail
A store purchase may appear in online order history if you scanned your Nike Member pass at checkout. If it does not appear, Nike’s instructions emphasize returning the purchase in store with proof of purchase.

Does Nike’s return window differ by country?
Yes. The 60-day period above applies to Nike’s U.S. policy and should not be treated as a worldwide rule. Nike’s U.K. policy describes a 30-day online return period and says items must be unworn, unwashed, and still tagged for the contractual return right.
