Choose the Air Force 1 High ’07 if you prefer a higher collar and hook-and-loop fastening. Nike’s product descriptions do not establish that either version is objectively more comfortable or supportive, so the best choice comes down to silhouette, fastening, and the fit of the exact model.
What is the difference between the Air Force 1 Low and High?
The main difference is the collar and overall silhouette. Nike describes the Air Force 1 ’07 Low as low-cut with a padded collar; the Air Force 1 High ’07 has a padded high-cut collar and a hook-and-loop closure.

Which one should you buy?
Choose the Low for a low-profile look
The Low is the straightforward pick if you prefer a shoe that sits below the ankle and has a padded low collar. Its silhouette is less visually prominent than the High, making it the better match when that is the look you want.

Choose the High for a high-cut look and hook-and-loop closure
Pick the High ’07 if you like the taller collar and want the hook-and-loop fastening Nike lists for this model. The high-cut shape is the defining visual difference, not evidence that it provides better support.

Consider the Mid separately
Nike’s catalog treats Low Top, Mid Top, and High Top as separate Air Force 1 categories. The Mid is a third silhouette, not another name for the High; compare it separately if you are deciding how much collar coverage you want. Nike Air Force 1 catalog
Do the Low and High fit the same?
Do not automatically apply the Low’s sizing advice to the High. Nike says the cited Low fits large and recommends going down half a size, while its cited High page does not give that recommendation. Check the sizing guidance on the exact product listing or try the shoe on, especially if you are choosing a different colorway or release.

Is one more comfortable or supportive?
Nike lists Air cushioning and perforated toes for both cited models, but those shared features do not prove they feel the same on foot—or that one is more comfortable or supportive. The official product descriptions are not a controlled comparison and do not establish a winner for comfort, weight, support, or activity. Your preference for a low or high collar and the fit of the exact pair are more useful decision points.
What does “Air Force 1 ’07” mean?
“’07” appears in the names of the cited Low and High models. Separately, Nike says the Air Force 1 debuted in 1982 and was the first basketball shoe to house Nike Air. That history does not change the practical Low-versus-High choice: compare the collar, fastening, and fit of the specific pair.
