The four rounds are at 4:30 and 7 p.m. Friday, then noon and 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Central Time. Friday’s second-round leaders are not necessarily the event’s final No. 1 qualifiers because Saturday sessions can change the order.
When is NHRA Midwest Nationals qualifying?
The 15th annual Midwest Nationals, the third of six Countdown to the Championship playoff events, runs Oct. 2–4, 2026, at World Wide Technology Raceway, 700 Raceway Blvd., Madison, Illinois. NHRA scheduled four Mission Foods professional qualifying rounds across Friday and Saturday. Times below are local Central Time.

These are the Mission Foods professional sessions, not the separate schedules for Pro Mod, Factory Stock Showdown or Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series classes. NHRA’s Saturday guide lists Pro Stock and Pro Stock Motorcycle at 1 and 3:30 p.m., and Top Fuel and Funny Car at noon and 2:30 p.m.
Who is leading qualifying at the Midwest Nationals?
NHRA’s Friday report identifies these drivers as the leaders of their respective Q2 sessions. These are Friday session-leading passes, not confirmed final qualifying positions for the event.

Pro Stock was especially close in Q2: Coughlin’s 6.473-second pass was one-thousandth ahead of Greg Stanfield’s 6.474, and the top eight were separated by 0.018 seconds. Comparing runs is most useful within the same category and session, using both elapsed time and speed.
Where can I see live timing and the qualifying order?
Use NHRA’s official event results page for the Live Timing, Detailed Results, Qualifying Order and Ladders links. Check the qualifying order after the Saturday sessions rather than treating Friday’s Q2 leaders as final; standings and event schedules can change while the event is underway.

Is qualifying on TV, and what should fans know?
NHRA’s event preview announced qualifying coverage on FS1 at 6:30 p.m. ET Friday, plus additional coverage at 11 a.m. ET Sunday. FOX was listed for Sunday eliminations in a two-hour window that varies by market: 2–4 p.m. ET or 4:30–6:30 p.m. ET. Confirm local listings for current broadcast times.

NHRA directs ticket buyers to the World Wide Technology Raceway ticket office, phone line or website. NHRA says children 12 and under can enter the general-admission area free with a paid adult; it describes event tickets as pit passes and highlights the Manufacturers Midway and driver autograph opportunities.

NHRA’s event guide says Sunday Mission Foods eliminations begin at 10 a.m. local time, while the Oct. 2 preview says 9 a.m. CT. Because those published times conflict, verify the current start time on NHRA’s event schedule before making plans.
