Which capsules does it use?
The ENV155T belongs to Nespresso’s Vertuo system. Nespresso’s FAQ lists VertuoPlus compatibility with Espresso, Double Espresso, Gran Lungo and 7.7-ounce Coffee capsules, as well as previously offered 14-ounce Alto capsules. Availability of particular capsule sizes and blends can vary by region and over time. OriginalLine capsules are a different system and are not listed as compatible with this machine. Check Nespresso’s Vertuo capsule compatibility information and the local capsule listing before buying.
How the machine is described to work
The VertuoPlus manual describes the system as using Centrifusion extraction and one-button preparation. It also covers initial setup, cleaning, descaling, troubleshooting and warranty. Descaling and routine care
Nespresso recommends descaling every 3 months or after 300 capsules, whichever comes first. It says mineral buildup can affect water flow, temperature and overall performance, and notes that its descaling kit contains solution for two cleanings. These are Nespresso’s published recommendations, not a measured service interval for every water supply or usage pattern.
