Can I redeem Sweeps Coins for prizes?
The Sweeps Rules say eligible redeemable Sweeps Coins may be used for prizes at one coin per US dollar of prize value. They also require a one-time playthrough of Sweeps Coins on eligible games and identify games that do not count. The rules make winning status subject to operator verification. The Terms set a $100 minimum redemption.
These are conditional rules, not an assurance that a particular balance will be approved or paid. Before playing, read the live Sweeps Rules and Terms for the eligible games, excluded games, verification requirements, redemption process, and any changed conditions. MyBets.us’s Terms, version 2.1, updated April 23, 2026, also say the operator may change or remove promotions without notice and may change availability by jurisdiction.

What states are excluded?
MyBets.us’s official materials do not agree on a single state list. The Sweeps Rules, version 3.2, updated March 30, 2026, list nine excluded states. A Customer Acceptance Policy search result dated April 23, 2026, lists a different set; the direct policy page was not available for verification. Neither list should be treated here as a definitive statement of present eligibility.

Because the discrepancy changes the answer for at least Kentucky and New York, check the current official site materials and applicable local law rather than relying on either list alone. The Terms also reserve the ability to change geographic availability.

Is MyBets.us legal in my state?
There is no supported nationwide yes-or-no answer. The platform’s own Sweeps Rules say: “The User must ensure whether the Sweeps games are legal in their jurisdiction.” A sweepstakes format by itself does not establish legality everywhere; the answer can depend on state law, the specific promotion’s mechanics, and how authorities or courts interpret them.
A Wyoming Legislative Service Office research memo dated July 30, 2026, describes differing state approaches and actions involving sweepstakes casinos in Montana and Connecticut. It also reports Wyoming regulators receive complaints from sweepstakes-casino players about cash-out problems. That is consumer-risk context, not a finding about MyBets.us or proof that it has failed to pay a user.
Michigan illustrates why a general answer can mislead: Michigan Compiled Laws § 750.372 generally addresses lotteries and gift enterprises but includes a limited exception for certain promotional activities that are clearly occasional and ancillary to a primary business, subject to conditions. That provision alone does not determine whether MyBets.us complies with Michigan law, and it says nothing conclusive about another state.
What account controls and closure options does MyBets.us describe?
MyBets.us’s Responsible Social Gameplay Policy says users can request play limits through support, use cooling-off or self-exclusion, and request account closure through support. The policy also says permanent closure forfeits access to associated virtual currency. Read the policy before requesting closure, especially if an account contains a balance or a redemption request is pending.
