Multiselect V14 is presented as a free, responsive dropdown for choosing multiple entries, with a select-all action and a compact display of selected values. One detail needs checking before you use it: Colorlib calls it a country selector, but its description says the dropdown contains “fifty states.” Don’t assume it includes a complete list of countries without checking the current demo or download.
What Multiselect V14 is described as offering
Colorlib’s September 28, 2026 article presents V14 as a free country-selection snippet. According to that description, users can select more than one entry, select all options, and see up to four selected names in the closed control; beyond that, the control displays a number instead of listing every name. The dropdown is also described as adapting to mobile screens. These are publisher descriptions, not independently verified behavior.

The same description says the open dropdown contains “fifty states.” That conflicts with the broader country-selection label. Check the current demo and downloaded options before using V14 for international country data or assuming which locations it includes. Colorlib’s Multiselect V14 listing

How it fits into a form
Colorlib describes its collection of multiselect examples as using HTML, CSS, and a small amount of vanilla JavaScript, without jQuery, Bootstrap files, or a plugin. It also says the collection’s dropdowns retain an underlying native <select> and write selected choices to it so they can be submitted with a form. Those statements cover the collection, not a verified inspection of V14’s current files. Before depending on that form behavior, confirm that V14’s downloaded markup and script update the native control as expected.

Check the license before reuse
Colorlib says the snippets are free for personal and commercial use under CC BY 3.0 when the credit link is retained. That is a collection-level statement. Review the license file and terms included with the specific V14 download, especially if you plan to modify or redistribute the asset.

V14 is described as a single multiselect control. If your form needs search, a limit on visible selected items, or linked country and region fields, those requirements should guide the choice of implementation rather than be assumed features of V14.

- Search or a visible-item limit: A separate plain-JavaScript project documents integration with a native multiple-select, with optional search, select-all, and a maximum number of visible selected items. Its documentation does not establish that V14 has those features. Selectlist documentation
- Country and region fields that depend on each other: A separate country-region selector documents configurable country values and dynamic initialization for dependent fields. It is a different project, not a V14 feature. Country Region Selector documentation
For any option, verify the actual list of values, how selections reach your form submission, the dependencies your project must load, and the applicable license. The available descriptions do not establish V14’s accessibility, browser support, or maintenance status.
