Local AI capabilities: what MSI claims
MSI lists an AMD XDNA NPU rated at up to 50 TOPS and total AI performance of 126 TOPS. It also says the system’s unified memory can allocate up to 96GB to graphics and promotes local inference for models of up to 120 billion parameters. Model size alone does not establish how well a model will run: results depend on quantization, software, context length and workload.
MSI publishes throughput figures for selected models, including 33.29 tokens per second for GPT-OSS 120B and 58.96 tokens per second for Qwen 3.6 35B. These are manufacturer figures, not independently validated test results. They should not be treated as a guarantee that every 120B model will run usefully, or at those speeds, on this system.

For someone considering local inference, memory capacity and the amount available to graphics are relevant, but so are measured speed for the specific model and quantization, storage for models and datasets, and performance under sustained load. The published figures alone do not provide an independent basis for comparing this PC with competing systems.
On-device processing is not a security guarantee
MSI says that running AI applications locally can give users greater control over data privacy and security. Keeping inference on a desktop may reduce the need to send prompts or data to a remote AI service, but it does not by itself establish that a deployment is private or secure. Security also depends on the operating system, software, access controls, network setup and how data is stored and handled.
