But these figures are not yet confirmed by exact-name manufacturer product pages, and the sources conflict on Xiaomi’s rear cameras. Treat this as a reported-spec comparison, not a definitive buying recommendation based on verified retail listings or independent testing.

What is the reported price difference?
Both comparison pages list the Redmi Note 17 Pro 5G at ₹36,999. For Motorola, 91mobiles lists ₹47,999 and MySmartPrice lists ₹48,949. Subtracting the Xiaomi figure gives a displayed gap of ₹11,000 using the 91mobiles prices, or ₹11,950 using the MySmartPrice Motorola price. These are page snapshots, not guaranteed checkout prices or a verified current saving; confirm the exact variant and live retailer price before buying.

Which phone has the better performance specifications?
The comparison listings give the Motorola a MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Extreme and 12 GB RAM, compared with the Xiaomi’s Qualcomm Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 and 8 GB RAM. They also report 256 GB storage for Motorola versus 128 GB for Xiaomi. On those headline specifications and listed configurations, Motorola has the advantage. That does not establish how the phones perform in everyday use: the available figures are not a comparable independent test of gaming, sustained workloads, or multitasking.
91mobiles also displays AnTuTu scores of 2,217,003 for Motorola and 949,300 for Xiaomi. The page describes AnTuTu as combining CPU, GPU, and RAM testing, but does not state the year, and the results have not been independently reproduced here. Treat them as source-reported scores, not a guarantee of a particular speed difference in real use.

Display: Motorola has the higher reported refresh rate
91mobiles and MySmartPrice list a 6.8-inch, 144 Hz AMOLED display for Motorola and a 6.83-inch, 120 Hz AMOLED display for Xiaomi. The Xiaomi is marginally larger by the reported diagonal; Motorola has the higher reported refresh rate. A higher refresh rate can allow supported content and interactions to appear smoother, but the listing alone does not establish brightness, resolution, color accuracy, or how consistently either phone sustains its maximum rate.

Camera specifications are not consistent across sources
91mobiles lists three 50 MP rear cameras for Motorola: main, ultrawide, and telephoto. For Xiaomi, it lists a 50 MP main camera and an 8 MP ultrawide. However, Cashify’s comparison instead describes Xiaomi’s rear setup as 50 MP plus 2 MP. That disagreement means the Redmi’s secondary-camera configuration is unsettled by these sources. The listed front-camera resolutions are 50 MP for Motorola and 16 MP for Xiaomi. Megapixel counts describe resolution, not overall image quality; they do not establish results in low light, video, portrait shots, or processing. Check the manufacturer specification for the exact market variant before relying on any camera configuration.
Battery and charging: capacity is not the same as endurance
Comparison pages report a 9,000 mAh battery for Xiaomi and 6,500 mAh for Motorola, making Xiaomi the larger-capacity option on paper. 91mobiles also reports PCMark battery results of 21 hours 55 minutes for Xiaomi and 14 hours 11 minutes for Motorola. The comparison page does not establish the test configuration or reproducibility, so these should be read as reported results rather than a controlled, independently verified head-to-head finding. Battery capacity and a single test result do not guarantee how long a particular person’s phone will last.

For charging, 91mobiles lists Motorola with 90 W wired and 15 W wireless charging, and Xiaomi with 67 W wired charging; it does not list wireless charging for Xiaomi. These entries do not confirm regional availability, charging conditions, or whether a suitable charger is included in the box.

91mobiles lists three OS updates and five years of security updates for Motorola, versus four OS updates and six years of security updates for Xiaomi. The comparison page does not establish the official policy wording, when the update period starts, or whether these terms apply in every market. Verify the promise on the relevant manufacturer support page for the exact model and region before treating the listed periods as guaranteed.

Which one should you choose?
- Consider Motorola if the listed 12 GB/256 GB configuration, 144 Hz display, reported processor tier, or listed wireless charging are the features that matter most to you—and if its confirmed live price fits your budget.
- Consider Xiaomi if the lower comparison-page price and larger reported battery capacity are more important, or if its listed software-support period is confirmed for your region.
- Wait for verification if camera hardware, exact regional configuration, current price, or official update commitments are decisive. The rear-camera descriptions conflict, and exact-name manufacturer-domain searches did not return product pages in the material available for this comparison.
Neither comparison listing is a substitute for checking a current manufacturer page and retailer listing. The available material supports a trade-off between Motorola’s stronger reported display and memory specifications and Xiaomi’s lower listed price and larger reported battery; it does not establish a universal winner through verified specifications and comparable independent testing.
