There is no reliable single price difference: the available prices cover different countries, storage tiers and dates, so compare same-market offers before deciding.

Choose based on screen shape and feel
The Edge 60 Fusion’s quad-curved screen is the more distinctive option if you prefer curved edges. Samsung’s A37 uses a flat Super AMOLED display in the cited specifications. Both are listed at 6.7 inches; Samsung Spain specifies 120 Hz, but that regional detail should not be assumed for every market without checking its local product page.

The cited sources identify the Dimensity 7300 in the Motorola and the Exynos 1480 in the Samsung, but provide no comparable head-to-head benchmark. Samsung says the A37’s CPU performance is up to 12% better and GPU performance up to 19% better than the Galaxy A56 5G. Those are Samsung’s comparisons with a different phone, not independent measurements against the Edge 60 Fusion.

What the camera specifications tell you
Both phones have a 50 MP main camera, but megapixel counts alone do not establish which takes better photos. Battery capacity and charging
The reviewed Edge 60 Fusion has a 5,200 mAh battery and 68 W wired charging. Samsung lists a 5,000 mAh typical battery for the A37 and says its Super Fast Charging 2.0 can reach up to 60% in 30 minutes; the 45 W charger is sold separately. Samsung describes the battery’s typical capacity as a third-party laboratory estimate and notes that actual life varies. Capacity and manufacturer charging figures do not establish comparative battery life or real-world charging time between these phones.

Water resistance and software support
What Samsung’s IP68 rating means
Samsung says the A37’s IP68 rating is based on laboratory testing in freshwater up to 1.5 metres deep for up to 30 minutes. Samsung advises against beach or pool use and says water resistance can diminish through normal wear. Treat the rating as a limited test result, not a promise that the phone is waterproof or safe to swim with.

Samsung states that the Galaxy A37 5G supports up to six Android OS upgrades and up to six years of security updates. Samsung notes that update availability and timing can vary by model and market. The cited Motorola material does not establish an equivalent commitment, so this comparison cannot confirm parity.

What is the price difference?
The available prices are not like-for-like: they come from different markets, storage configurations and dates. Samsung’s US page showed the following prices when accessed on October 7, 2026; Samsung India’s page showed its price on the same date. TechRadar reported Motorola prices in a review dated July 18, 2025.

The Samsung US page’s struck-through figures are shown as displayed, not as evidence that the lower prices are permanent. The Motorola amounts are dated review-reported prices, not current offers. To find a meaningful difference, compare the same storage capacity in the same country and on the same date; check whether each offer is unlocked, carrier-linked, discounted or dependent on a trade-in.

Check the exact model before buying
Regional specifications and connectivity can differ. Motorola’s support manual identifies the Edge 60 Fusion model XT2503-4 and says available bands depend on location and network availability. Samsung likewise warns that 5G and features may depend on country, region, carrier and model. Confirm the precise SKU, supported bands, memory and storage configuration, charger inclusion and warranty region, especially if buying an imported phone.
Samsung says the A37 box includes a USB-C cable, ejection pin and quick-start guide, but no charger is included with the US purchase page. Check the local listing for your market rather than assuming the box contents are identical everywhere. Samsung also says compatible cases and screen protectors are sold separately and can vary by local design and availability.

Which phone is the better fit?
- Consider the Galaxy A37 5G if Samsung’s stated update commitment, its documented IP68 test conditions, or its OIS-equipped wide camera are priorities. Confirm local availability and pricing for the storage tier you want.
- Consider the Edge 60 Fusion if you prefer a curved pOLED screen and the reviewed configuration’s 68 W wired charging. Verify the specifications and current price for the exact regional model, because the cited Motorola details are review-sourced and its price report is dated.
