Where the Edge 50 Ultra pulls ahead
Processor tier
Motorola lists a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 in the Ultra and a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 in the Pro. That makes the Ultra the more advanced chipset on paper, but these specifications alone do not establish how large the difference is in real-world apps or games; no benchmark comparison is included here.
Listed display brightness
Both phones have the same listed screen size, resolution and refresh rate. Motorola gives the Pro a peak brightness figure of up to 2000 nits and the Ultra up to 2800 nits. Peak figures are manufacturer specifications rather than a guarantee of sustained brightness in every setting.

Shared battery and charging specifications
Motorola lists a 4,500mAh battery and 125W wired charging for both models. Equal capacity does not prove equal battery life, and the charging rating is not an independently measured charging-time result.
The Pro supports up to 50W wireless charging with a separately sold Motorola TurboPower 50W Wireless Charging Stand, according to its EMEA specification page. Motorola’s US Ultra page also lists up to 50W wireless charging. Accessory requirements and specifications may differ by market, so check the page for the model sold in your region.

Camera comparison: what the specifications establish
The cited Pro page lists a 50MP main camera with optical image stabilization, a 13MP 120-degree ultrawide camera with macro capability, and a 10MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom and OIS. It also lists a 50MP front camera.
The available Ultra specification excerpt does not show its complete camera section. That is not enough evidence to call either phone the camera winner or to claim their camera systems are alike. Compare the full regional camera specifications—and, where possible, independent photo tests—before choosing based on imaging.

RAM and storage depend on the market
The cited EMEA Pro page lists 8GB or 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The Ultra’s US page lists 12GB RAM and 512GB storage, while its UK page lists 16GB RAM and 1TB storage. These examples show why a model name alone is not enough: confirm the precise RAM/storage SKU available where you plan to buy, and compare it with the price for that same configuration.

Quick Recap
Which phone should you choose?
- Choose the Edge 50 Ultra if the higher-tier listed processor and higher listed peak brightness matter to you, and the local price premium fits your budget.
- Consider the Edge 50 Pro if its documented camera hardware and shared headline battery, wired-charging and display specifications meet your needs at a lower local price.
- Check before buying the regional RAM/storage configuration, the current price, and the exact wireless-charging accessory requirements. The cited specifications do not establish a universal winner for camera quality, battery life or overall value.
