The Infinix GT 30 5G+ is the more gaming-focused option on paper, with a Dimensity 7400 chip, a larger 1.5K 144Hz display and physical gaming triggers. The Moto G96 5G counters with an IP68 rating and a higher-resolution 32MP front camera. Both list 5,500mAh batteries; Infinix specifies up to 45W charging, compared with Motorola’s 33W. These are specification differences, not results from comparative hands-on testing.

Which phone is better for gaming?
The GT 30 has the more explicitly gaming-oriented feature set: Infinix lists the Dimensity 7400 and physical GT triggers. Those shoulder controls may suit games that support them or players who prefer physical inputs. The Moto G96 specifications cited here do not list equivalent triggers.

Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesFind Drivers →Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsFree Scan →Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteDriver Scan →Both phones advertise displays with refresh rates up to 144Hz, so that number alone does not separate them. A refresh-rate ceiling is not a promise that every game runs at that rate. Nor do processor names establish which phone delivers higher frame rates or steadier performance in a particular game; that requires comparable, model-specific testing.

Which has the better display?
Infinix lists a 6.78-inch AMOLED panel with 1224 × 2720 resolution, while Motorola lists a 6.67-inch pOLED panel with 2400 × 1080 resolution. The GT 30 therefore has the larger panel and higher listed pixel dimensions; both list up to 144Hz. The specifications do not establish which screen looks better in brightness, color accuracy, outdoor use or motion handling.
Camera differences: resolution is not a quality verdict
The Moto G96 lists a 32MP front camera, compared with 13MP on the GT 30. That is a difference in stated resolution, not proof that selfies or video will look better. The GT 30’s official Indian specification lists a 64MP main and 8MP ultra-wide rear setup. A third-party comparison reports a 50MP main and 8MP ultra-wide setup for the Moto G96; confirm the camera configuration for the specific regional Moto model before relying on it. Megapixel counts alone cannot establish image quality.

Battery, charging and durability
Capacity and charging
Both manufacturers list a typical battery capacity of 5,500mAh. Infinix specifies wired charging up to 45W and reverse charging up to 10W; Motorola specifies 33W TurboPower. The higher stated charging wattage gives the GT 30 the advantage on paper, but these figures do not establish actual charging time or battery endurance.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors2Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches3Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsIngress protection
The Moto G96 carries an IP68 rating, while the GT 30 is rated IP64. These are different ingress-protection ratings, not guarantees that either phone is indestructible. Treat the rating as a specification rather than permission to expose a phone to damaging conditions.

Price difference: what the available figures establish
Infinix’s India store displayed ₹21,999 for the GT 30 5G+ with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage, and ₹23,999 for the 8GB/256GB selection. Those were retrieval-time displayed prices, and the selected products were in a notify-me state; they are not guaranteed current offers. The cited material did not establish a current official Moto G96 price, so it cannot support a reliable present-day price gap.
For a fair comparison, check live prices for the same country and storage class, and account for seller, stock and discounts. Infinix India’s product page is the source for its listed configurations and displayed prices; availability and offers can change.

Which one should you buy?
- Choose the Infinix GT 30 5G+ if physical gaming triggers, the larger higher-resolution display, or its higher stated wired charging power matter most to you.
- Choose the Moto G96 5G if you prioritize its IP68 rating or the higher listed front-camera resolution.
- Compare local listings before deciding if price or network compatibility is decisive: the current Moto price and a like-for-like price difference are not established here, and regional configurations can vary.
Neither specification sheet settles real-world gaming performance, camera output, battery life or software-support duration. The comparison supports a feature-based choice, not a universal winner.
