The Redmi 15C has a documented 6,000 mAh battery, 33 W charging and a 6.9-inch HD+ screen in Xiaomi’s Mexico specifications. Motorola’s available official page, however, covers the standard moto g86 5G—not the Moto G86 Power—so its specifications cannot establish a definitive comparison with the Power model. Check the exact country-specific Power variant before deciding which phone is better or comparing prices.
First, confirm the exact phone and market
The name difference matters: Motorola’s official India specifications page is for moto g86 5G, not moto g86 Power. Motorola also cautions that specifications can vary by market. The figures below therefore distinguish the confirmed Mexico Redmi 15C from the related, but not equivalent, standard G86. They are not a verified head-to-head specification sheet for the two phones named in this comparison.

Which screen is better?
On the documented models, Motorola’s standard G86 has the sharper, higher-resolution AMOLED panel: 2712 × 1220 pixels on a 6.67-inch screen, compared with the Redmi 15C’s 1600 × 720 resolution on a larger 6.9-inch screen. Both pages list refresh rates up to 120 Hz. The Redmi’s bigger display may suit readers who prefer more screen area, while the G86’s resolution and AMOLED technology make it the stronger documented option for display detail and panel type. That conclusion applies to the standard G86 specifications, not a confirmed G86 Power variant.
Battery capacity does not settle battery life
Xiaomi lists a 6,000 mAh typical battery for the Redmi 15C; Motorola lists 5,200 mAh for the standard moto g86 5G. Those manufacturer capacity figures are not a controlled endurance test, and they cannot establish which phone lasts longer in everyday use. Motorola’s 41-hour figure is a manufacturer claim for the standard G86, not an independently measured comparison with the Redmi 15C or a verified claim for the Power model.
The Redmi 15C lists 33 W charging, while the standard G86 lists 30 W TurboPower. Wattage alone does not establish real charging time, and the available evidence does not provide comparable charging tests.
Durability, storage and connectivity
The Mexico Redmi 15C page lists IP64 protection and explicitly warns against immersion. Motorola lists IP68/IP69 and MIL-STD 810H for the standard moto g86 5G. Because the available Motorola page is not for the Power variant, confirm that model’s protection rating in its official documentation for your market before treating it as more durable.

Both listed models support microSD cards up to 1 TB; Xiaomi says the Redmi 15C card is sold separately. The Redmi Mexico page lists 4G bands but notes that connectivity and bands vary with regional availability and operator support. The evidence here does not establish a complete bands or carrier-compatibility comparison, so check the exact local SKU against your network before buying.

A Smartprix comparison listing for Moto G86 Power 5G and Redmi 15C 5G (8 GB RAM + 128 GB) reported prices of ₹24,999 and ₹21,194, respectively, with details last updated September 9, 2026. That is a snapshot difference of ₹3,805 for the listings shown at that time—not a universal or current price gap. The comparison’s stated configuration does not remove the need to confirm each exact phone variant and seller.
Prices depend on country, storage tier, retailer and date. For a useful comparison, check both phones in the same market on the same day, match storage configurations, and compare the final prices from sellers you would actually use. The supplied price snapshot cannot answer what either phone costs elsewhere or today.

- Consider the Redmi 15C if its locally available configuration and price suit you, and you value the documented 6,000 mAh typical battery, 33 W charging, microSD expansion or large screen. Its Mexico-page specifications are not necessarily identical to versions sold elsewhere.
- Consider a Moto G86 Power only after verifying its local specification sheet. The standard moto g86 5G’s sharper AMOLED display and IP68/IP69 rating may look appealing, but those details are not proof of the Power model’s specifications.
- Do not choose from the dated price gap alone. Confirm exact model names, memory and storage, network compatibility, current local pricing and included accessories before comparing value.
The available sources do not establish a reliable Power-versus-Redmi comparison for cameras, software-update policy, full network-band support, in-box charger contents, or independently tested performance and battery life. Treat those as open questions to resolve from the exact regional product pages and listings rather than filling them in from a related model.
