The Moto G86 Power has the stronger listed configuration for display resolution, RAM, storage and ingress protection; the OnePlus N6x has the larger stated battery and a slightly larger display. Neither is an evidence-based all-round winner from the available specifications alone. The comparison also crosses regions: Motorola’s cited specifications carry a market-variation warning, while OnePlus’s N6x page is for India.

These are manufacturer-published specifications, not matched independent tests. In particular, the sources do not establish a direct comparison of display brightness or quality, processor speed, or real-world battery life. Motorola’s listing also cautions that specifications may vary by market.

Which phone has the better display?
On the figures published by Motorola, the Moto G86 Power has the higher stated resolution: 2712 × 1220 on a 6.67-inch AMOLED panel. Motorola also lists HDR10+, a refresh rate up to 120 Hz and HDR peak brightness up to 4500 nits. OnePlus lists the N6x with a 6.8-inch display and a refresh rate up to 120 Hz, but the cited page does not provide comparable resolution or brightness figures.
The N6x is slightly larger diagonally; the Moto’s published panel specifications are more detailed and include a higher stated resolution. Those facts do not establish which screen looks better in use, because the available sources provide no matched display testing.

Battery: larger capacity is not the same as longer runtime
OnePlus lists a 7,000 mAh equivalent-capacity battery, compared with Motorola’s 6,720 mAh figure. OnePlus says the N6x can provide “up to 2.5 days of battery life on a single charge,” based on OnePlus Test Lab data, and notes that actual results vary. Motorola lists up to 50 hours for the G86 Power. These are different manufacturers’ claims, with no common test conditions established here, so they should not be treated as a direct runtime comparison.
Motorola lists 30 W TurboPower charging. The cited OnePlus specification page does not establish a comparable charging-speed figure.
RAM, storage and performance: what the configurations suggest
The listed Moto configuration pairs 8 GB of physical RAM with 512 GB of storage. OnePlus’s page references N6x variants with 4 GB RAM and either 64 GB or 128 GB of storage. On those listed configurations, the Moto offers more physical RAM and storage. Buyers should verify the exact regional model and configuration before ordering; a device sold in another market may not match the cited Motorola listing.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches2Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems3Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteThe Dimensity 7300 and Dimensity 6360 Apex names alone do not settle which phone is faster in everyday use or gaming. The sources do not provide matched, independent performance tests, so a definitive speed ranking would go beyond the evidence.

Durability ratings and their limits
Motorola publishes IP68/IP69 for the G86 Power, while OnePlus publishes IP64 for the N6x. Motorola lists MIL-STD 810H and OnePlus lists MIL-STD-810H. These are the manufacturers’ stated ratings and standards; they are not guarantees that a phone cannot be damaged. They do not justify deliberate exposure to water, dust or drops.
Price difference: treat listing snapshots cautiously
A 91mobiles comparison search-result snapshot displayed ₹17,835 for the Moto G86 Power and ₹20,999 for the OnePlus N6x, a displayed difference of ₹3,164 with the OnePlus higher. These are third-party listing figures, not verified current retailer offers or manufacturer launch prices; the comparison page could not be opened to confirm the listing details. Prices, stock and discounts can change, and the figures may refer to different configurations.
Before deciding on price, compare same-day offers in the same market for the exact RAM and storage variants, and account for seller, discount eligibility, warranty and network compatibility. The OnePlus product page is India-specific, and Motorola explicitly warns that its specifications can vary by market, so the cited figures should not be generalized to other countries.
Quick Recap
Which one should you choose?
- Lean toward the Moto G86 Power if the listed 8 GB RAM and 512 GB storage, higher stated display resolution or higher published ingress-protection ratings are your priorities—and those specifications match the variant sold where you live.
- Consider the OnePlus N6x if you prefer its slightly larger listed display or its higher stated battery capacity, and its local configuration and price suit you.
- Make the final call using local listings: confirm the exact variant, warranty and network support, then compare current prices. The available information does not establish a universal winner or a reliable current price gap.
