The Moto G86 Power 5G is the stronger fit on listed display resolution, battery capacity and water-and-dust protection; Samsung’s Galaxy F70 Pro 5G offers rear-camera optical image stabilisation, faster rated charging and a clearer long-term update promise. The better choice depends on which of those features you value and on the exact regional variant and live price.
Moto G86 Power vs Galaxy F70 Pro 5G: specifications
The figures below come from Motorola’s EMEA support listing and Samsung’s India product page, so they are not proof that every market sells these exact configurations. Motorola specifically warns that specifications can vary by market. Motorola’s specifications page lists the Moto configuration; Samsung’s India product page lists the Galaxy F70 Pro 5G.

The Moto’s listed resolution is higher, while both manufacturers list refresh rates up to 120Hz. Those specifications do not establish which screen looks better in person. Likewise, the processor names alone cannot establish a speed winner: the available sources do not provide a matched independent performance test.

Motorola says the Moto can provide up to 50 hours of use. Samsung lists up to 28 hours of video playback for the Galaxy and notes that actual usage varies. These are different manufacturer claims under their own conditions, not results from a head-to-head battery test, so they should not be read as directly comparable endurance figures.
How do their cameras and durability differ?
Camera hardware
Samsung’s India product page lists three rear cameras—50MP, 5MP and 2MP—and optical image stabilisation (OIS), plus a 12MP front camera. The 91mobiles comparison lists a 50MP + 8MP rear setup and 32MP front camera for the Moto, but those camera details are secondary-source specifications; Motorola’s cited regional support page does not confirm them. Megapixel counts by themselves do not establish image quality.
Water, dust and impact protection
Motorola lists IP68/IP69 protection and MIL-STD 810H for the cited Moto configuration. Samsung names Gorilla Glass Victus for the Galaxy F70 Pro 5G and warns that water and dust resistance may diminish over time. These are manufacturer specifications, not a guarantee against damage in every accident or use condition.

Samsung says the Galaxy F70 Pro 5G will receive six generations of OS upgrades and six years of security updates, counted from its first global launch date; Samsung also says the policy is subject to change. Motorola’s cited specification page lists Android 15 but does not state an update-support duration. That means Samsung has the clearer support commitment in these sources; it does not establish Motorola’s policy beyond what this page says.

What is the price difference?
When 91mobiles was accessed on 2026-10-07, it displayed Amazon price snapshots of ₹17,835 for the Moto G86 Power and ₹26,290 for the Galaxy F70 Pro 5G—a displayed difference of ₹8,455. These are volatile third-party listings, not verified checkout prices or official launch prices. The comparison does not establish a controlled, like-for-like variant match. Check the live seller listing, storage/RAM configuration and available offers before comparing totals. Samsung’s India purchase page did not provide a stable usable price in the cited capture.
Check the exact variant before buying
Regional specifications matter particularly for the Moto. Motorola’s EMEA support page lists a Dimensity 7300 processor and 512GB storage, while 91mobiles lists Dimensity 7400 and 128GB storage. The available sources do not establish whether that discrepancy reflects regional variants, a data issue or both. Do not combine those details into one assumed configuration.
- Confirm the phone’s model and RAM/storage tier on the seller’s listing.
- For the Moto, verify the processor, storage, network bands and protection ratings for the market where you plan to use it.
- For either phone, compare the final checkout price for the same storage tier, seller conditions and offers.
Which one should you choose?
- Choose the Moto G86 Power 5G if the specific regional model you can buy has the listed 2712 × 1220 display, 6,720mAh battery and IP68/IP69 protection, and those matter most to you.
- Choose the Galaxy F70 Pro 5G if OIS, a 45W charging rating and Samsung’s stated update schedule are higher priorities.
Neither specification sheet proves a universal winner. Confirm your market’s exact configurations and compare current, variant-matched prices before deciding.
