How the Tiel build works
The core idea in Destructoid’s recommended setup is to make Shadow Strike the start of an attack sequence. At Critical Role level 3, the guide says melee and ranged attacks that follow Shadow Strike are guaranteed critical hits. This is one guide’s allocation, not a verified universal optimum. Its stated reason for reaching Critical Role level 3 is the guaranteed critical-hit follow-up after Shadow Strike.

If you want a concrete weapon pairing to try, that is the specific option KeenGamer names. If you would rather follow Destructoid’s approach, use its Shadow Strike and critical-hit skill plan without assuming that the two guides prescribe the same weapon or complete loadout.
