The guides associate obtaining the scythe with the Like Clockwork trophy or achievement.
Where is the Clockwork Scythe?
Unofficial guides place it in the Chamber of Becoming, reached from the Silent Steps area in Mammon. The scythe is reported as the reward for completing Sariel’s encounter chain, rather than as a pickup on the route. How to get the Clockwork Scythe
- Start at Silent Steps. Travel to the Silent Steps Beacon in Mammon and follow the route toward the fortress.
- Complete Sariel’s first encounter. Fight Sariel until he retreats, then continue onward.
- Continue into the Chamber of Becoming. Complete the intermediate encounter there until Sariel retreats again.
- Destroy the four glowing tablets. In the final arena, break all four stone tablets sustaining Sariel’s resurrection. The companion route guide identifies this as part of completing the encounter.
- Finish the final encounter and check your inventory. Complete the fight. The guides report the Clockwork Scythe as the reward; confirm it appears in your inventory before leaving the area.
How to unlock the Like Clockwork trophy
NerdsChalk reports that Like Clockwork unlocks when the Clockwork Scythe enters the inventory. An unofficial achievement database also associates the achievement with unlocking the weapon. After the Sariel chain, verify both that the scythe is in your inventory and that your platform’s live trophy or achievement list records Like Clockwork. An unofficial database lists a merchant map marker for 3,000 Coin, but that detail does not match the guides’ descriptions of obtaining the scythe after Sariel. It is not needed for the route described above, and it should not be treated as a confirmed acquisition method without checking in game. The Sariel encounter chain is the route the location guides identify.

What the weapon reference says about its abilities
A weapon reference associates Scholar’s Wormstone and Clockwork Shardstone with the scythe’s chainsaw abilities and describes those abilities as consuming Resolve. Its listed skill details are not independently confirmed as current-patch behavior, so use the reference as orientation rather than a guarantee of how the weapon performs in your build. The Clockwork Scythe reference notes that its database snapshot does not establish that every value was retested on the latest patch.
