On Steam, Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection supports Steam Cloud save backups, but Capcom does not support cross-platform saves. The PC version lists support for several Xbox, PlayStation, and Nintendo controllers, as well as mouse and keyboard. Its minimum requirements are Windows 11 64-bit, 16 GB RAM, and a GTX 1660 or RX 5500 XT, with 50 GB of storage.
Can you back up a PC save?
Capcom says Steam players can back up save data by uploading it to Steam Cloud. It also warns that normal game operation is not guaranteed with backups created from local storage. Can a trial save transfer to the full game?
Yes, if the trial progress is in manual save Slot 1. Autosave-only progress cannot transfer. At a Catavan Stand, make a manual save in Slot 1 before opening the full game.

Can you move progress between PC and console?
No. Capcom states that crossplay and cross-saves between platforms are not supported. Steam Cloud is a backup route for Steam data; it does not transfer progress to a console or another platform.
Which controllers work on Steam?
Capcom lists normal game operation with these controllers, plus mouse and keyboard. Support for a controller does not mean every platform-specific feature works.

If Nintendo controller button prompts appear mismatched, Capcom recommends Options > Controls > Controller Button Icons > Type 5. If A/B or X/Y prompts still seem swapped, open Steam Settings > Controller and disable Use Nintendo Button Layout.

The following specifications and performance targets are published on the Steam Store listing. They are not independent benchmark results. Steam warns that frame rates may drop in graphics-intensive scenes.

Those targets are expectations tied to the listed tiers, not guarantees for every scene or system. Capcom says it does not guarantee normal operation with onboard graphics that share video memory with system memory, or with mobile GPUs, which may perform below desktop GPUs. A laptop GPU with a similar model name to a listed desktop card should not be assumed to meet the requirement.
To assess a PC, compare its CPU and GPU tier, installed memory, Windows version, and available storage with the table, and check whether its graphics processor is mobile or integrated. For the current published specifications, consult the Steam listing.
