The 320 million-share offer is worth EGP 7.84 billion—about $149–150 million—and is reported as Egypt’s biggest IPO since e-Finance’s 2021 offering, with the ranking depending on whether proceeds are compared in Egyptian pounds or dollars.
How big is MNT-Halan’s IPO?
Current reports put the offer at 320 million shares, representing about 20% of issued share capital, at EGP 24.50 each. That produces gross proceeds of EGP 7.84 billion, or approximately $149–150 million. The dollar figure is an approximate conversion; the Egyptian-pound amount is the reported offer value. Egypt Business reports the price and offer size, while EnterpriseAM characterizes it as the largest offer in dollar terms since e-Finance.

What does the “biggest since 2021” comparison mean?
The comparison is to e-Finance’s October 2021 offering, reported at EGP 5.84 billion. In local-currency terms, MNT Tech Holding’s reported EGP 7.84 billion offer is larger. Coverage also calls it the biggest in dollar terms since e-Finance, but a dollar-denominated ranking depends on the exchange rates and gross-proceeds measures used. It is best read as a description of the current reported comparison, not a timeless ranking that is independent of currency conversion. Egypt Business gives the e-Finance figure; EnterpriseAM reports the dollar comparison.
Which part of MNT-Halan is being offered?
The reported issuer is MNT Tech Holding for Financial Investments, which represents MNT-Halan’s Egyptian operation. The offer should not be treated as a listing of every business in the wider MNT-Halan group: reports say businesses outside Egypt remain within the private group. Arab News describes the offer as covering the Egyptian business.

Reports describe the shares as existing shares sold by the main shareholder. EnterpriseAM calculates an implied issuer value of about EGP 39.2 billion, or roughly $750 million, by applying the offer price to the share count and implied total shares. That is a derived estimate, not a separately announced company valuation. EnterpriseAM’s report provides the basis for the estimate.
That implied issuer figure is distinct from the broader group’s reported $1.4 billion valuation following the first close of a strategic investment round led by Al Ahly Capital in June 2026. The latter is a private-round valuation for the group, not the IPO issuer’s announced valuation. MNT-Halan’s company announcement reported the funding-round valuation.

Subscription mechanics are not a substitute for assessing the issuer or the terms. The available reporting does not provide enough prospectus detail or audited financial information to responsibly summarize MNT Tech Holding’s financial performance, risk factors, or use of proceeds. Read the FRA-approved prospectus and Egyptian Exchange notices for those details, final allocations, and any updated offer terms. Do not infer an expected return from the offer price or size.

- Check whether your chosen intermediary accepts your order for the tranche you intend to use.
- Look for exchange notices on final allocations and the start of trading; a trading date should not be assumed from the subscription dates.
