Is Phoenix Cyclops available yet?
No—not as of October 7, 2026. PlayStation Blog Brasil announced that Phoenix Cyclops is scheduled to arrive on November 2, 2026. The official game FAQ says Year 1 DLC characters become accessible upon their respective releases. Buying the pass early does not make an unreleased character playable, so there is no need to reinstall the game or contact support solely because he is absent before that date.

The July 23 announcement identified Phoenix Cyclops as the first additional character in Year 1 content. PlayStation Blog’s reveal confirms the character, but the later November 2 date is the relevant timing for access.

The Year 1 Character and Stage Pass includes four additional characters and one additional stage, accessible as each is released. Its battle-result poses for the game’s 20-character launch roster are available upon pass purchase. The PlayStation Store listing says the base game is required and sold separately.

- If you bought the pass: Check the purchase history for the account that made the transaction. A pass purchased on another account may not be available to the account you are using.
- If you own the physical PS5 Standard Edition: The game FAQ says you can buy the Digital Deluxe or Ultimate upgrade through PlayStation Store and access its additional content once downloaded. The physical Standard Edition itself is not described as including Year 1 DLC.
- If you own only the base game: Verify whether you bought the pass or an edition that includes it before troubleshooting downloads. Owning the game alone does not establish pass ownership.
How to find and download the add-on on PS5
- Sign in to the PS5 account that bought the pass or eligible edition.
- Open Game Library > Your Collection, select Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls, then scroll to Add-Ons.
- Find the owned add-on and check whether it is downloaded or still waiting to download. If it is waiting, select it and follow the on-screen prompts.
- If you cannot find it in the library, check transaction history to confirm the purchase and the account used. The PlayStation App also provides an Add-Ons section for a game in your library.
The game FAQ establishes the pass contents and release timing, but does not specify whether Phoenix Cyclops must appear as a separate store download. Do not assume a standalone character listing is required; verify the pass entitlement and the game’s add-on status instead. Try these in order after confirming the release date, account, purchase and Add-Ons status:

- Restart the PS5, then check the game’s Add-Ons again.
- Restore licenses: open Settings > Users and Accounts > Other > Restore Licenses, select the relevant option and follow the prompts. PlayStation says restoring licenses can help when an add-on cannot be located and will not affect user data. See its Restore Licenses instructions.
- If the download or installation still appears broken after those checks, consider deleting and reinstalling the game. PlayStation lists reinstalling as a later add-on troubleshooting option, not the first step.
- If the purchase or download remains unresolved, contact PlayStation Support.
Check disc and account regions
If you play from a disc, compare the region for which the disc is licensed with the region of your PlayStation account. PlayStation warns that a mismatch can make DLC incompatible. This is a general PS5 compatibility check, not a confirmed cause of a Phoenix Cyclops problem in this game.

What PC players should check
The official FAQ lists Steam and Epic as PC platforms, but does not provide storefront-specific recovery steps for a missing Phoenix Cyclops entitlement. Check that the account you are using owns the pass or an eligible edition, then inspect the game’s DLC or add-on status in the same storefront where you bought it. If the entitlement or download is still missing, contact that storefront’s support. The PS5 menus and license-restoration steps above do not apply to Steam or Epic.
