Does MARVEL Cosmic Invasion have local and online co-op?
Yes. The game advertises both local and online co-op, including a drop-in/drop-out system. Nintendo lists one to four players on a single system and one to four players online; its listing also specifies Nintendo Switch Online for online play. Requirements and player counts can differ by platform, so check the relevant platform’s listing. Nintendo’s details are on its eShop page; Dotemu describes the game’s local and online play.
Can players on different platforms play together?
Cross-play between console families is not established by the platform and publisher details cited here. Nintendo’s listing includes a cross-platform-play tag, but does not spell out which platforms or combinations it covers. Do not assume that players on different systems can join the same session without confirmation for their platforms.

What is Cosmic Swap?
Cosmic Swap is the game’s tag-team mechanic: choose two heroes for a level and switch between them instantly. That lets players alternate between their selected characters during a fight and use their team’s special attacks. The mechanic is described on the official game site and in the Nintendo listing.

What DLC is available or announced?
As of October 9, 2026, Dotemu says the Cyclops & The Thing DLC is available on all platforms for $3.99. Its current game page schedules a second DLC pack, The Siege of Castle Doom, for November 10, 2026, featuring Doctor Doom and The Invisible Woman. That date is a scheduled release, not confirmation that the pack has already launched. DLC availability and prices may change; check Dotemu’s current game page or your platform’s store before buying. Nintendo’s listing showed Cyclops & The Thing for $3.99 and a May 18, 2026 date when checked on October 9, 2026.
