Repair them in any order, then return to the projector and choose “Break the bulb” to finish the quest and receive the Standard Issue Coverall outfit.

How to reach the maintenance projector
- Follow the quest marker through Underpass 5 to the sealed door marked for the old Oldest House.
- Use the intercom or keypad as prompted and enter dot-dot-dash, the Morse code walkthroughs give for “in.”
- Go through the mold-covered passage and follow the route upward to the projector room.
- Watch the maintenance worker film through to the end, then interact with the switchboard in the adjacent control room. It reveals the Volatile, Botanophobic, and Electrosensitive Bulb objectives.
The three bulbs can be repaired in any order, according to the walkthroughs. Choose the route that is easiest for you to reach first.
How to repair each bulb
Volatile Bulb
Find the bulb near the Halfway Trail area and speak with it. Choose reassuring responses; when corrupted enemies appear, defeat the wave and resume the conversation. The walkthroughs differ in their exact dialogue transcripts, so the consistent instruction is to reassure the bulb and clear the spawned enemies. Interact with it again to complete the repair.

Botanophobic Bulb
Reach the mold-covered area around the bulb. Destroy the mold and fungal growth there; once the repair interaction becomes available, use it to fix the bulb.
Electrosensitive Bulb
Locate all three portable batteries or generators in the nearby room and on its platforms. Carry or throw each one away from the bulb area, including off the ledge into the abyss where appropriate. Then return to the bulb and use the repair prompt. A focused walkthrough warns that leaving even one power source nearby can keep the bulb agitated.

How to finish the projector sequence
- Return to the projector room after repairing all three bulbs.
- Interact with the final bulb shown in the projection.
- Follow the prompts through the slide sequence until “Break the bulb” appears.
- Select “Break the bulb” to leave the projection and complete the quest.
Walkthroughs report that quest completion awards the Standard Issue Coverall outfit, an in-game cosmetic.
What to do if a bulb will not complete
- Volatile: Make sure you have used reassuring dialogue and defeated the spawned enemy wave, then continue the conversation and interact with the bulb.
- Botanophobic: Check the surrounding area for remaining mold or fungal growth before trying the repair interaction again.
- Electrosensitive: Remove all three batteries or generators from the bulb’s area; a nearby source may prevent it from settling.
- Projector ending: Confirm all three objectives are repaired, then interact with the projected bulb and advance the slide prompts until the “Break the bulb” choice appears.
